Israel: Takes prisoners and kills some people, in attempts to kill militants who may or may not appear to be civilians. Has a history of being attacked by neighbors and militants. Has a government that resticts certain types of speech, religious expresison etc. Has the right to defend itself by attacking those places where its enemies lie.

Lebanon: Contains militants, who prefer to kill rather than capture and capture to negotiate prisoner releases, for prisoners who may not be being held legally. Hizbolah has a history of killing civilians as targets in Israel, and represents a large portion of the population of Lebanon. Lebanon has the responsibility to defend itself from Israel, and to contain Hizbolah, but lacks the power to do so effectively, or without civil war.

Palestine: Ruled by militants with a history similar to Hizbolah only more so. Has the right to autonomy from Israel, and feels repressed. Denies Israel's right to exist. Has the right to defend itself.

Do think they convince listeners to vote conservative or liberal, depending if they agree or disagree? You think most Americans (if they listened) would agree with the pundit?

I know a lot (if not most) Americans don't actually like us Brits, but the ones that do like us seem to say so because the UK was the only main ally during the Iraq War. But the thing is, do you realise that most British people are actually against the war, and that in the days before the war millions protested on the streets of the UK?

I'm not trying to make any political comment on the validity of the war, I'm just interested in Americans' knowledge of the situation. So please, no political rants or tirades.

You wouldn't believe how bad off things were before a group of wise individuals from the distant future went back in time to fix the Bush vs Gore as well as the Bush vs. Kerry presidential elections. Both of those election may have seemed a bit skewed to you, by you need to thank whomever it is you thank when your tail is miraculously saved, because things were a whole heck of a lot worse before the scientists of the future stepped in to make a couple of minor adjustments.

Gore won the popular vote and Bush got the electoral vote. Bush had a massive base rally in 2004 to barely win. Do you think on social issues Americans are more liberal or conservative?
