a true blue neo-realist, reliving the cold war everyday of his life, basking in the redundant ideological musings of Henry Kissinger, this man has no place in the political sphere - he antaginises the U.N and re-enforces the international steriotype that all Americans are ignorant, selfish, vile and destructive.

This is a serious question.
I am flabbergasted by the fact. In the UK we have an understanding that the leader of the country should be intelligent. In the Uk people either like or dislike Tony Blair but everyone respects his intellect and oratory skills. Whereas Bush just seems like an useless baffoon who gets told what to do by advisers. He can hardly string a sentence together.
Bush would never get close to office in the Uk. How could he in America?

Especially since the Bible says that calling someone godless is, well, godless.

Not that I believe that silly book, but she does. So she should know better.

How many Conservatives would vote for Rudy Giuliani if he gets the GOP nod or runs independent? I know that the party has a problem with Rudy's pro-choice stand but is that enough to discount a candidate that could actually reach across voting lines. I am not worried about Hillary, I just think the Republicans will front a weak candidate if they stick with tight party lines.

I thought that liberals were all for Clinton and were basically hippies, but now that i have viewed some questions on racism, i'm starting to get another perspective on them. It's like they did a flip flop or something. Or are they just people who don't know what they're talking about? (the askers of the racist questions)

Do you think Israel is doing justice by bombing & killing innocent people in Lebanon?

Dont you think by killing a person's family members you wont make him a terrorist?

Wont this lead to creation of more terrorists who are against U.S.A & Israel?

What do you think?

all we need is to create a system modeled on private educators around america and adopt and adhere to those principles that work .
If teachers want to experiment with new techniques try them in the private sector and quit using american children for educational political games to rise out of teaching into the lucrative administration positions.

It is unfortunate that President Bush has broken down and is now pandering to a group that has been against him from the start. The NAACP has turned from the liberator of our African American Community to the perpetuator of its victim and entitlement mentality, and his cool reception just proves that the only reason they invited him was to demonize him. My question is why did he decide to do this after resisting since 2000?

Congressman Gil Gutknecht (R-MN) on Iraq June 15:
"Members, now is not the time to go wobbly. Let's give victory a chance."

Congressman Gil Gutknecht on Iraq after actually visiting the place:
""The condition there is worse than I expected. I have to be perfectly candid: Baghdad is a serious problem. Baghdad is worse today than it was three years ago. We learned it's not safe to go anywhere outside of the Green Zone any part of the day. All of the information we receive sometimes from the Pentagon and the State Department isn't always true. What I think we need to do more is withdraw more Americans"

Which half of that title guides your decisions more?

For instance, you deem it good Christian values to ban abortion in most cases. However, as conservatives, you agree with cuts in spending such as Welfare, Medicare/Medicaid, Head Start, and education in favor of tax cuts for the upper-middle class, big business, and spending on prisons. Additionally, you encourage abstinence-only sex education, which has failed miserably. Is it just me, or does that seem a little incongruous? How do you reconcile your conservative rhetoric with the Christian call to service and social justice?
