Burnin's too good for 'em. Hangin's too good for 'em. They should be stomped into little bitty pieces and buried ALIVE!

You're generalizing. There are just as many examples of shallow, over-broad, hate-filled remarks coming from conservatives toward liberals. There seems to be a segment out there that enjoys bellowing instead of getting down to the far more difficult business of sharing the country.

The Liberals problems with talking to Bush is that he only listens to himself. No one can offer solutions to problems to George Bush because their is no problem unless it falls on Bush's head, like Katrina, and he has no capacity to evaluate solutions, like a workable FEMA, because he has no capacity to think beyond one idea at a time.
Often he just has no experience with the problem. Bush has not been a "decider" before becoming the President. For example, The Governor's job in Texas is a powerless mouth piece sort of job. However, it is the only job he ever had that was something other than joke telling and back rubbing. At least he was pretty good at ceremonial assignments.
So how do you talk to Bush? He knows nothing about informing an idea or even asking an intelligent question. He is a pat answer sort of a guy. Pitch him one slow and down the middle and he can hit hard, but he often just stops at first base to tell a joke to someone that is forced to laugh.
Just think, Katrina, attack Iraq, Katrina, attack Iraq, kill the federal government and Katrina again and again. See?

I cannot speak about hate or wanting to kill, but I know why I do not like Bush.

Bush is a bad president who seems hellbent on destroying our democracy. Because Bush and his followers (including yourself) seem very proud of that. Because Bush's handlers and followers still blame 'those darn Liberals' for everything when conservatives have dominated the government for the better part of 30 years. Why is abortion still legal? It's those darn liberals. Why is the economy shaky? Liberals again. Why did Jimmy get a bad report card? Liberals. Everything bad can somehow be attributed to Liberals or illegal immigrants. I've got news for you. The Democrats haven't had the power to do much of anything for some time now. Want to blame somebody for bad government? Look at your side, because they've controlled the White House and the Capitol for years.

Because Bush and his handlers successfully lead their base to meaningless social issue hot-button issues (Flag burning, gay marriage, "Under God", religious displays in public places, the "War on Christmas", and so on) to avoid having any attention paid to real issues where they are failing miserably. Despite all the hot air these social issues never seem to go away. Year after year, no matter how large the Republican majority in congress is those bills never can pass. Think that's because the evil Liberals stopped them? I doubt it. These measures aren't supposed to succeed. They're supposed to energize the conservative voting base with some feelings of self-righteous indignation and give them a boogey man to hate.

Because Bush and company are supposed to be Conservatives, traditionally the party that laid claim to being "fiscally responsible." Bush has never met an enormous Republican authored spending bill he didn't like. Bush and company brag about lowering taxes and I still hear "Tax and Spend" used to describe the left from time to time. Bush doesn't Tax. That would be like paying for the country's bills with real money. No, he throws it on the National Debt which is financed by T-bills. Those T-bills have been bought up voraciously by China, who in a matter of decades may be competing with us for economic supremacy. Enlarging the debt the way he does and giving China such a powerful weapon against us is irresponsible, deferring the problem for future generations to handle.

Because Bush and Co. dragged us into a war that we cannot win for no good reason. When you fight cultural forces and ideas there are two ways to win: 1) convert all the people to your way of thinking or 2) kill them all. I hate to say it but number 1 isn't happening and thankfully we aren't murderous enough for number 2. Evil as Saddam was the Iraqis were not ready to overthrow him and live in a "liberal" western democracy. We went because George and company had an axe to grind with Saddam and because the Neocons had dreamed for years of taking him out. There was no historical precedent for doing what Bush and Co. attempted in Iraq, let alone a successful one. But hey, they're all smart guys, right? So far the war has cost the U.S. over 2500 of our servicemen's lives and maimed and scarred many more. The war has cost the US nearly $300 trillion dollars. Doesn't any of this shock you? This war was an elective war, a manufactured war.

I hear much worse rhetoric from right-wing pundits and followers every day than I hear from the screwiest left-wingers. I don't want to put Bush through a meat grinder or whatever. I just want him gone.

I did not Vote for Bush either time, and Did vote against him, So i knew to start with he was not, in my opinion smart enough for the Job, he is and always has been a business man, so it was my hope he could at least handle our finances. So much for that, we are so far in the red it will take ten Presidents to get us out , if then. Now as for a Solution the best one would have been don't vote him in. the next one would be to Impeach him. but then we are stuck with quick draw Cheney, So the only think I know, is to pray he wises up, until some one wiser takes over.

Ethan M: I realize that you apparently can never see the hateful questions conservatives put out... but I guess to be a conservative you can't see the whole story ever...

it's on both sides and to make wide ranging judgments off of just on side's stupid questions is horribly naive... why am I not surprised...

Patrick M: they don't want to know... they watch Fox News and wonder where all the answers are... it's because Fox News isn't going to tell them... everytime I see a "liberal representative" on there it's like someone from the communist party of America... then they think every liberal is a communist because of this, because they are, as this question yet again proves, naive..

The liberals HAVE no solutions to anything, except to throw money at a problem (welfare, etc) They run from terrorist and threats of war. They are cowards, and sell out to the highest bidder. They give hate speech because that is all they know how to do. It they were in power on 9/11, we all would be learning to speak Arabic, and our religion would be converting to Islamic. Ooooo I shutter to think of it.

A Stretegic question.Cute.

From most of the "Left" you ceratinly do not.Ethan, this is sigle-minded politics on your part run amok.

2 percent of Bush haters do not speak for 75% of Americans.

Bush has fallen out of favor with about 2/3 of Americans at this point. The cold disregard for anyone who says ONE SINGLE WORD against Bush's policies is what I think you may be trying to conceal with this question.

Let's put it this way.I'm starting to wonder if you're really as smart as I once thought you were.Forget all this nice crap anymore, you've turned into a right-wing apologist.Ugh.

Now, now. Please be more understanding. They are suffering from BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome. This causes a knee-jerk reaction of visceral hatred to spew forth upon any mention of Bush. Many times accompanied by uncontrolled twitching, spasms, facial tics and flecks of spittle at the mouth. Key words in determining the condition - Halliburton, evil, monkey, Hitler, puppet, war for oil, etc.

No cure. Thorazine does make them manageable though.

SOlution, well first start fining employers for hiring illegals, another solution to fix america would be to seal our borders. Yet another solution to fix america would be to remove all electronic voting machines unless the source code is made publically available and certified by independant software experts, using different software experts for each locality to sport an electronic voting machine.

Another solution would be to forbid the governemnt from spying on US citizens.

One other solution to improving our nation would be to decentralize control of our corporate press using anti-trust laws.
