It seems that no African government can get its act together. Corruption, starvation, and persecution are all rampant. Was it better for Africans when Europeans were running the place?

They also say that they are being attacked by a bully and that Israel took there land

But the Israelies say that the hezbollah have been attacking them for years and that they should be taken out....

You have all hear news stories supporting each side.....

My question is....who really can say that they are defending themselves??

When a Medical student is in the "intern" phase, he/she has to pay to work long hours to a hospital who turns around and CHARGES patients for the medicare that was given!

Should not these paying customers have the right to demand a FULLY licensed Doctor work on them?
and about the inturns, could not they be giving FREE care to the uninsured and poor? The inter is paying the hospital and that can cover the cost of supplies. I think this should help bring costs down, just manage what we have better.

Also, In my home state, EVERY lawyer must accept a certain amount of pro bono (free) work. Why cannot the doctors also be required a limited amout of walk-in work for free.
I know it soulnds a bit socialist, and I AM NOT THAT!
I can feed a homeless man, and I have, but I cannot treat their wounds or I would do so, at least part of the time.
or charge doctors $20 for a loaf of bread like hospitals charge $10 for ONE asprin! Use that $ to help the poor

I'm not necessarily talking a Hillary vs Condi thing... or who is the lesser of evils. I am asking who is the most electable man/woman for the Nations highest office. Do you think it could be Al Sharpton or Newt Gingrich? Mabey Barak Obama or Congressman Mark Kirk? Throw out some new names and provide a reason why... something besides "anyone but ____"

With the deficit growing at an alarming rate wouldn't it make sense for corporations with billions of dollars in profits annually to pay their share?

They are certainly not doing anything about it. There is no gas or oil shortage. This whole price fixing is done between a few people who decide what will happen with the price of oil per barrel. Do you believe the Bush and Cheney families are involved in this? The Bush family had major oil holdings before daddy Bush ran for President. Suddenly their names were no longer on the mineral rights and yet there is no record of sale according to anything I can find out on the internet. Cheney never tried to hide his involvment in the world oil distribution. Are we being sold out again by Washington?

All I can see that has come out of this war is more violence in that country than there other was before. Not to mention, the fact that it has caused a large chunk of the world to turn their back on America (while of course keeping an eye on the us, scared of invasion of their country). Can anybody, really, I mean really, tell me something good that has come out of this. And dont tell me the people are free, because they are not.

Many conservatives like John Dean and Barry Goldwater have voiced their beliefs that neo-conservativism has turned the conservative movement into a pro-authoritarian, pro-spending, anti-civil liberties, pro-government intervention into private affairs political movement. What is a true conservative - and do GWB and his administration qualify for the label?

Several nations have evacuated their citizens from lebenon at NO CHARGE

I think it would be a lot better for the US if we had more major political parties. The big problem with the two party system we have now is that there are only two sides to choose from and often they sound almost exactly the same.
