Every other country has gotten their citizens out quickly and quietly and AT NO CHARGE!!!This is embarrassing and unconscionable. How can GWB even think of that?? I agree with Jack F! While I hope every American makes out it quickly and unharmed, they chose to travel to an unstable country. If they were there on business, I am sure their companies will pay their evacuation costs. Evacuating some 8000 Americans costs money, and why should tax dollars be used for this? I am glad the government is helping them leave Lebanon and I fully support charging them a reasonable fee.
