Iraq is totally destroyed. So many innocent people foolishly killed. USA is gaining nothing other than creating enmity and hatred.

As a Christian, I see my tax dollars spent on issues that I do not agree with for religious reasons. In the debate to change tax appropriations based on these beliefs, I'm told to keep my religion seperate from the government. We are told to not attempt to legislate morality.

If this is the case, shouldn't a religious person be able to opt their tax dollars out of the programs that are against our beliefs? If not, isn't this taxing a person of faith without giving them proper governmental representation? What's the difference between this and a concientious objector to a war?

I mean, what if we did what they thought we should do to get us to like them, would this really be a better place, or would the world just fall apart?

Half the time, people vote on a person just because they are following the same religion as they are, which has nothing to do with the main key issues that can help our country. Why is that people only vote based on 2 things, such as "abortion" and "the death penalty" when its not relevant to the key issues thats been talked about?
What purpose does politics serve, if all of the country's decisions are soley based on religion, when our country is based mainly on the economy and money and business, and profit, etc, which really has nothing to do with religion. Same with the key problematic issues our enviroment. What gives? People will believe in something that is not physicall present, but they wont believe in enivronmental problems thats physical and creating problems as I speak right in their faces, and tehy deny the fact that there is no such thing as Global warming or oil shortages..

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove will not be indicted in the CIA leak investigation, his attorney announced yesterday, a decision that signals that a special prosecutor's probe is unlikely to threaten any other Bush administration officials.

Cheney's Haliburton (and it's dozens of straw companies) are getting their payroll covered by the federal government contracts. They, in turn, steal Iraqui oil and sell it to us for 3 times the price we paid before we (U.S.) were even allowed to buy it from the Iraquis.
So now we're covering the American oil cartel's payroll and giving the same bastards triple profit while president bb brain and company load their pockets.

I can't think of an American that is more hated here in Canada, I feel this is both justified and unfair at the same time. A poll in 2004 suggested that almost 70% of Canadians would have voted against him (regardless of the opponent).
One thing is for sure; he is an iconoclast. Do citizens of other nations have such passionate feelings toward the American President?
Americans, How do you feel Mr. Bush represents you abroad?

I am 37 years old. I remember a time when we(the people of the United States) did not like something , we stood up and protested or rebeled until something was done to correct what we did not stand for.
But now everyone seems to just bend over and take it?
Are we too comfortable driving our big SUV's, and living our plastic electronic lives to say somethiing?
Are we just TOO politically correct?
Why cant we be happy anymore?
I really think this country is on a downward spiral.

-Why do 'PATRIOTIC AMERICANS" think they are doing us a service by negatively criticizing America for every little thing?
-What is the purpose? It's not gonna do any good unless it is constructive criticism aimed through a forum; directed towards our elected officials that establishes some kind of compromise.
-Why are so many Americans on the pop culture band wagon of disrespecting our leaders?
-The rest of the world bashes us enough, why do we insist on helping them along?
