It is my opinion that a majority of people accross the world could be classified as a member of the "mindless majority", meaning that they will follow anything the media or community says without questioning it. i watch the news, and see how they constantly bash President Bush, thus his popularity rates decrease. why can't people research things and gain their own opinions instead of following the bandwagon. You even see this with democrat presidents. if you ask a person what they think about clinton, a large majority will immediately go to the sex scandal and say he was a bad president. i think he is was a bad president, but not just because of his sex scandal. why doesn't anyone talk about his fisical policy or social wastefullness???

If so many of you out there insist we invaded Iraq for oil, why did Bush chose the 16th largest oil producer in the world? There are 14 better ones (excluding ourselves. yes, we produce more oil at home than Iraq ever did) out there that could have been overthrown far more easily.

Furthermore, what are you going to say when Bush retires and doesn't go home to Crawford to swim in an oil-filled pool?

Just once I'd like to see real evidence come with the claim,
"We did it for oil."

I am talking about politicians that take money from dodgy Nigerians. Otherwise, where does that leave the Republican Senators who start with hardly anything and leave office with assets of several millions.

What we are witnessing is the next american revolution. Citizens on all sides of the political spectrum are becoming more and more vocal as the state elections begin to take place. But what about 2008 and beyond? Who's going to carry the torch and represent the values of the american people? Ted Kennedy? Nancy Pelossi? Dick Cheney? Tom Delay? Not in my life time.

Many teens today are more concered about who wins American Idol, what Brad and Angelina's baby looks like, and the FIFA world cup than immigration & tax reform, the gay marriage amendment, Iran's nuclear program, and shying away from voting and politics almost all together.

If you're a teens activist, God bless you for whichever cause you're fighting for. As for me, these are the organizations I stand by:

The first Ammendment only bars Congress from establishing an official religion, Not that Religion can't be included in our politics.
As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view-it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments! As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door. As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit,
a display of the Ten Commandments!
It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, it is very hard to uunderstand why there is such a mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the PledgeofAllegiance. Why dont we just tell the other 14% to Sit Down and shush up!

I am amazed the USA has the temerity to tell others about DEMOCRACY and send their soldiers to die for this ideal when in its own back yard fraud is endemic. After all the present President is the result of voter fraud.
