well, six years ago i was only 9 years old and had no television or anything in my room (and i didn't have a job), so from that angle i would say that im better off now....but i was also innocent and naive 6 yrs ago, and i got to go to easy elementary school and do fun stuff..hmm, tough call. but i would probably still say that im better off now

Heck no. My life was a wandering until I was 14, then I had the best year of my life, then my life went downhill after that and I've been searching for the life I found when I was 14 ever since. So, the last 10 years of my life have been just awful. I wish I could win the lottery and just vanish away to a far away land...

Nope, everything costs more and salaries have not increased enough to keep up with the high cost of necessities. Gas prices are out of sight! Jobs are scarce, housing is very expensive, and let's not even discuss medical insurance! What a joke when you hear people say the economy is better. They must not be living in this country!

Nope. Falling behinder and behinder every payday, despite the fact that I gave up most luxuries, like attending movies or renting them, gave up, most meat because I couldn't afford the cuts I like; gave up eating out 100%. Don't go anywhere on vacation anymore. Instead shop at thrift-stores for household items and clothes and shoes. Next in line to give up will be my telephone or TV service. Can't live without the Internet! Have a 21-year-old car that gets good mileage, I need it to get to work. What else do I have to give up? Don't have any bad habits to kick, other than eating!

Yes, and it's all due to MY OWN HARD WORK, and the economic freedom afforded us in America.
