If you are for the legalization of gay marriage do you also feel that polygamy, child porn, and other disturbing choices of sexual expression should be legal? If so whats the difference. To me they are all choices that are wrong and should not be legal.

i asked a question about Guantonomo Bay. It seems that a lot of you think this is a POW camp. You do realize that the bush administration has ALWAYS maintained that this is not the case, Right? I mean, you do know this? don't you?

I was just wondering how the democrats plan to win over the southern states especially the bible belt. There are many things like abortion, gay marriage, etc. that probably won't fly real well there.

are great ideas enough? or does it draw away from someone's credibility if they cannot express themselves clearly? (isn't that what speech writers are for?)

reagan: "i am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience."

clinton: "part of our essential humanity is paying respect to what God gave us and what will be here a long time after we're gone."

lincoln: "am i not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?"

bush: "uhh—gosh, i —don't think I ever said I'm not worried about osama bin laden. it's kind of one of those, uhh, exaggerations."

Appearing before the Commons Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development last year, Carleton University paleoclimatologist Professor Tim Patterson testified, "There is no meaningful correlation between CO2 levels and Earth's temperature over this [geologic] time frame. In fact, when CO2 levels were over ten times higher than they are now, about 450 million years ago, the planet was in the depths of the absolute coldest period in the last half billion years." Patterson asked the committee, "On the basis of this evidence, how could anyone still believe that the recent relatively small increase in CO2 levels would be the major cause of the past century's modest warming?"

"The man is an embarrassment to US science and its many fine practitioners, a lot of whom know (but feel unable to state publicly) that his propaganda crusade is mostly based on junk science."
