Well, more Democrats than republicans go to college....fact. Therefore, more Democrats can think critically than republicans...fact. Therefore, it makes sense that Dem states do better on IQ tests because it tests critical thinking skills. funny. I'm a socialist and I scored a 155.

Interesting information. Unfortunately its also extremely subjective and means absolutely nothing.

Your IQ has nothing at all to do with how you vote.
I would think if anything the referenced information only shows to what extremes some people are willing to go to Doctor information so it looks like they are in the right. I'm willing to bet the family farm that the information was posted by a Liberal.

Liberals like to think their smarter, the problem is that the playing is pretty level. There are some extremely intelligent people on both sides. If only they were in charge instead of the idiots that run the GOP and DNC we might be better off.

I would like to know the validity of these results. I'm a Dem so I found it to be funny, but a possible fake. Something to consider: The lower scores seem to be coming from two different types of states. 1)Sparsely populated 2)Education is not known as a strong point. I'm not calling them dumb states, but Alabama and Tennessee are not known to be as as strong in education as California or Vermont. Also, Wyoming is a little more sparsly populated than New York. There are factors here that are not covered. The test can be a little misleading.

Well, this 140 I.Q. Bush voter out of Florida, did not take part in that study. Where did they come up with those numbers? Looks made up to me.

comit, I think you mean more democrats GO to college. When they are out of college, and see how the real world works, they become republicans.

Your data is flawed. If you are a serious researcher which I doubt, you would know that IQ testing is normed at 100 for all large groups. To get separation by state must by less than 1 percent and insignificant in how data was reported. I would guess more likely which areas of which states reported which data would account for the slight and insignificant differences if in fact there are any. Interesting that your data contains nothing that would allow a reader to examine it and try to understand how your data was obtained.

It says more states voted for Bush than Kerry.
States with larger populations voted for Bush
The highest and lowest IQ scores for both Bush and Kerry are only 13-14 points difference. Marginal to negligible difference overall ... only about 7-8%.
