Not sure which question you want answered.

Regrettably, the whole of America is neither far left or far right.
Too many in the media (both conservative and liberal) try to paint an us-versus-them country where you are either from a red state or blue.

Somewhere out there, a man or a woman will rise to the occasion and lead us without fracturing us into ism's of left or right.
Somewhere out there, a person will find a way to JOIN us together instead of dividing us.
Maybe someone who is fiscally responsible, yet socially aware.
Strong on defense but reluctant to send troops out on false pretenses.
Who actually cares about babies AFTER they are born...and see to it that women get health care during pregnancy.
Who will invest money into the health, education and welfare of children to keep them from a life of crime...not invest in prisons to lock them up.

Am I just dreaming?
Yep...just as John Lennon sang in "Imagine".
There are a lot of us out there that just don't fit in a neat little box labeled "conservative" or "liberal".

I get my marching orders from thinking ON MY OWN.
It is my wish that the rest of America do the same.
For when all think alike, no one thinks very much.

The left likes to claim conservatives like to listen to talk radio to get their ideas, yet they start a network of their own (organized by the way, not just a loose grouping of individual shows on multiple networks). I believe that conservatives listen to talk radio (and TV) in order to stay informed and educated, so that their own conclusions can be made. I hear things on talk radio I don't agree with. I think Savage goes off the deep end sometimes. But I listen, because those guys make a full time job out of following what's going on, and I can't. I have my own work to do. I rely on them to tell me what is happening, to be a watchdog for our common interests, and to give me the information I need for me to draw my conclusions.

No one listens to leftist radio because they don't do any of that. They just bash and complain and run down everything good about the US. They are dissenters, party poopers, and raggers and no one, no one wants to hear that day in and day out.

I think the conservative talking points right now are "shut up" and
"Dont worry-everytning's great in Iraq!" and "WHAT financial divide?'".
Conservatives change from time to time-as each horrible thing they actually want gets jettisoned from mainstream society. The racism and anti-semitism that did conservatives darn proud in the 50s is out today(thank you ACLU!!!)
One Liberal truth remains constant:Politics in general is bull and nerds in suits cant run this country as well as they think they can.

Anyone who listens to some blowhard on the radio or t.v. are sheep looking to be lead. There is enough printed and broadcasted information for any Liberal or Conservative to form their own opinion.

The Liberals use a thing called the "Internet", invented by Al Gore, to e-mail their talking points to CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the New York Times, et. al. and they are disseminated from these beacons of Liberal Truth.

"...the liberal message seldom changes..." Other than hate-Bush, blame-Bush for everything, criticize-Bush, demean-Bush, the liberal message changes all the time. They'll change whatever they say depending on who they're talking to, then deny it.
Or, do you mean if you listen to several liberal politicians, "news"casters, etc., they all seem to use the same derogatory term (gravitas...)?
