You people are all brainwashed by the media. You haven't got the intelligence to see that you are being lied to so you believe what you read.
You might not like saddam but he did what was necessary. You seppos stick your noses in and have opened a can of worms now your stuck there. If you leave there will be chaos so you have to stay.
Just because the method of government in the middle east is not democratic you think it's wrong. It's not, its just different but then so are the values.

Saddam is bad, that's definate. But Bush is no better. The people of Iraq should have replaced Saddam peacefully. The invasion of Iraq has made the situation worse. Not it's anarchy. There will be no peace in Iraq in the presence of the invaders. Even if the troops are pulled out, the warring factions will continue to create chous. The invasion was a grave mistake. Vengeance is on the rampage.

I wasn't aware that over taking a country, and controlling every movement was considered running it. I believe when you have no choices in almost all aspects of life that might not be really running a country as opposed to dictating. Once Iraqi's see that having choices is not such a novel idea, they maybe able to aid in the running of their country; until then the United States can only do the best it can with it. Are you volunteering for the job? You think you could do so much better? If so, I'd highly recommend trying out for the position or at minimum relaying your suggestions to the appropriate offices.

That's an awful thing to say- the guy was a tyrant. He murdered thousands, if not millions, of people. I don't like that the US invaded Iraq, but getting rid of Saddam is the one bright spot in the terrible mistake.

Wow, well, I guess if by "admit" you mean "lie to ourselves" then the answer is no. I think we sure can do better than we are, that is certain. Bush can't even run our country to smoothly let alone another one so far away. I often wonder how much better things would be if we spent all that money on our own needs here in the states.

Yeah, killing and torturing countless of your own people is what I'd call "doing a better job". The other commentators to your Q were quite kind when they called you a moron. I'd add my own colourful comment but the English language hasn't come up with a word that would convey the supreme idiocy you have demonstrated.

Well, no, we probably won't admit that... but would you really want to? Sets sort of a dangerous precedent admitting that mindlessly slaughtering all the parts of the citizenry that cheese you off is an effective way to keep everyone else in line.

Did you ever live there or is that something you learned in school.
What did he do better torture people, kill child while the parents watched, steel money from the U.N., send missiles to rain on Israel, or attack the neighbors or maybe gas the Kurds. Sounds great.

Umm, no i probably won't ever say that, but thanks for the idea. I'm not saying that bush is doing the best job, or even a good job, but seriously worse than Sadam Husein? you must be crazy!

Boy!!! There sure is no cure for STUPID. Ill-informed, undereducated, uneducated and even ignorant (of the facts) can all be cured. BUT STUPID? Never, the facts keep getting in the way.
