because the bill of coffins for more than 2,500 american soldiers who died in iraq should reckon in the cost of the damned gas.

Like most people you clearly don't know squat about economics or the oil industry.
The bottom line is that demand for oil has been increasing rapidly due to greater demand, principally from China and there is no end in sight.
If China begins using oil on a per capita basis at the same rate as South Korea, one of the world's most oil frugal industrial nations, they would require an amount of oil equal to the entire world's current production.
They're not their yet but are on the way and the inexorable result is that prices rise because world production is more or less static.

Why is it that Republicans never cite the stats of how much demand has increased over the past few years vs. when the price increases occurred?
So apparently the Chinese just began driving about a year ago and they all started at the same time? that makes a lot of sense?
Another aspect of the situation is the instability in the middle east... the U.S. has been threatening Iran, one of the nation's largest oil producers... and war is never good for supply... thus that destabilizes the market, even if we don't invade though the futures market...

The US actually stockpiles a large amount of the oil it gets out of the ground. That's why it's so suseptable to global supply fluctuations and OPEC price changes.
Anti-american? No, the US is being smart: "why deplete our own oil supplies when we can deplete someone elses?"
To lower the price Bush'd have to start depleting US oil reserves, or lower the tax on oil, which is already the lowest fuel tax in the developed world.

because the higher the gas price, the more lottery tickets they sell and the more casinos are opening up.
because your brain project your reality down side up onto this matrix we call planet earth. Gas is actually much cheaper than a cup of Starbuck Coffee ($30/gallon)and close in price wiith milk.
because I think milk is just as gross as gas.
Let Chenney have it all. It is his focus, dat is how powerful he has trained his brain to create as he wish. If he wants to be a bad *** dude, dat doesn't mean you have to be one too
because Chenney too will die one day, who else will you blame your miserable reality on.
you know as well as everyone dat we are shifting right now
and in the shift all hell breaks loose
we are indeed in hell right now and at the end of the tunnel as well, to change this reality into what we want, not what they want, the Media

Gas is so high because our President doesn't have the sense to wake up and lower it. He's buying out all of our major companies so we don't have anything left. HE IS ANTI-AMERICAN!
