I ask because according to the alarmists, Katrina and Rita were a result of global warming, and I am sure that the next active hurricane season will be as well.

How do these alarmists reconcile invoking the all powerful global warming every time a hurricane hits, but conveniently become quiet every time their predictions fall short?

If Comdedian Steven Colbert has thousands of people supporting his bid for Presidency, what does this say about the current state that America is in? Nothing against Colbert but is the current adminstration really this bad that so many would vote for him? No other candidate has recieved this level of support in this amount of time.

Here's the picture the media used when they reported on Bin Laden's new audio release.

But that's not the same picture they used when he came out with his new video tape last month. Why?

If a Nation uses Nuclear Weapons on another Country All other countries will destroy the aggressor. It was after WW2 and I don't know if it has changed, but almost all nations agreed and signed. Is that treaty still in effect and doesn't that prevent it pretty good. Even if The U.S. used it we would face extreme consiquenses from all nations including our allies.

Why can't they stand opposing viewpoints? I remember when I was in college; we respected the other person's right to voice an opposing view. Thesis plus antithesis equaled synthesis. But now it's shout down ANY view that doesn't fit your narrow opinion of what's right. Emory university, Columbia, just to name a couple are guilty of disallowing free speech. How is this good for the Republic?
