I'm from the UK we are charged $7 to $8 Dollars a US gallon for our Petrol and Diesel. However many of us drive fuel efficient clean diesel cars that reach 50mpg or above. I hear that the average US motor does 17mpg. So I reckon that although UK residents pay more for their fuel, their motoring costs are lower because they drive more efficient motors. I also hear that most of our fuel costs goes on taxes which pay for roads, schools, the health service etc.. The increased US spend would go on bigger motors and more money for big Oil corporations. Surely it's better to drive smaller cars and contribute toward better healthcare and a cleaner environment? What do you think?

...If the Sox win the Series?

...If the Pats win the Super Bowl?

...If the Celtics win the Finals?

...If Mitt Romney won the presidency?

Wouldn't it be a slap in the face to Minnesota fans if Ortiz, Moss and Garnett each won MVP's?

Estimates are anywhere between 3 and 15 years.

I think 15 years is far too high an estimate. Iran has many facilities and many people working on this.

My guess would be more like 5 years.
What do you think?

According to this article in the Mail. Brown is ready to do a U turn and do just that because of immigration causing housing shortages!

The green belt is an outdated concept and it should be built on, the man in charge of guarding our countryside said yesterday.
Sir Martin Doughty, head of Natural England, called for a review of the protected land around urban areas, saying it should be converted into 'something that adds value'

To me the green belt IS something of immense value and it should be preserved! What do you think?

Just curious - if our choice for the next President were either an atheist or a Muslim, which would most Americans vote for?

I'm going with the atheist myself.

As far as I know, he didn't say "Destroy US and Israel", he only said:"Israel should not exist".

Is Yahoo pulling the questions or are the askers so sensitive that they can't handle the answers? Are politicians, or their watchdog groups, having questions pulled?

I answer a question, go back to see if there is feedback, and the question is gone. Whats up?

Liberal bias in the media is pathetic. Right?

"Funny- I don't recall any press organization ever mentioning that President Bush had started an anti-malaria program? Just as they prefer to downplay this Administration's efforts in Africa (which dwarfed the better-known efforts of Clinton), and snipe at the President whenever and wherever they can. As one example of the disparity in how Bush and Clinton were covered on the topic, The Washington Post published an article on Bush's African efforts in 2005- on Page 22. A less-expansive Clintonian intiative received Page 2 coverage."
