I am pretty lazy and I like money so I think I would make a great politician.

I know the actual job doesn't pay well.. I'm talking under the table stuff, etc.
I am good looking, I must say, but I don't talk real good.

Serve a tour in the military, go to college, be personable to everyone, dont get into confrontations, make yourself seem like "that guy" and most of all never give straight answers. People ALWAYS say they want a straight talker and someone independent but they almost NEVER vote for those people. The truth is people like being lied to, it makes them feel good. This is how they go about not having to deal with reality...

make sure your palms are well greased , many and most politicians who start off at a local level are business owners and 98 % are lawyers , so sooner or later you need to go to law school , if you make your way to the Senate in DC , be prepared to deal with 10 hour a day nagging , and cry baby antics all day everyday , until a bill is passed or vetoed .....watch CSPAN 2 all day everyday ( US Senate ) and see if you can tolerate the way many of them cry ,and ***** all day ....Personally I would get locked up everyday for knocking the cry babies out cold ...

Being a politican does NOT pay well....you go into it with a sense of public service. You need to be articulate, charming and manipulative.
