1. America is a nation of religious freedom. As a liberal, I have no problem with Creation being taught in public schools, just as long as it is presented as a religious belief, not a scientific fact. Regardless of whether or not you agree with science or religion (or both, even the Pope admits they are not mutually exclusive), insisting that religion be taught in a science class makes as much sense as insisting that science be taught in church.

Preaching the beliefs of one religion as truth in a public school would actually go against religious freedom.

I honestly wish all students were required to take a course on world religions that presented the different aspects of each religion without bias.

2. I'm sure there is at least one liberal that supports Bush. I know there are many conservatives that do not.

That being said, not supporting the president in no way goes against any of our freedoms. In fact, it is our freedom that allows us to criticize the government.

3. America's economic structure is actually a combination of both socialism and capitalism, and it has been that way for quite some time. That being said, "Americanism" is not a word and so your accusation has absolutely no real meaning.

4. Divorce kills marriage. Allowing people to marry does not.

For gustooch: Creation is a religious belief, not a scientific theory. Intelligent people do not forget that evolution is a theory; they simply understand and appreciate the significance of that title. Since you clearly have never taken a basic high school science class, here's a link that explains what a scientific theory is: http://www.mtholyoke.edu/courses/rschwart/mac/philosophy/theory.shtml

A. Creationism cannot hold a candle to science. Schools are about science. Are we supposed to stop disections because according to one religion a body is a temple. You want your kid to know about Creationism, that what churches are for.

B. Anyone with half a brain does not support Bush. But by your anaylsis over 60% of Americans are liberals.

C. What in God's name is Americanism. If it means screwing people to support corporations, your right I am not for it. Christ was also not about supporting Corporations. You as a person that wants Creationism taught in schools should know that.

D. If we allow Blacks to marry whites it would destroy marriage. That was written in a 1950's letter in Tennessee. Well Blacks and Whites do get marry and the institution is still alive and well. If Christians marry Jews it would destroy marriage. Found that letter in Spain during the Inqustion. We do it now and the institution is still here. What I am getting at is that the same thing has been said many times and then when it finally happens people sees the arguments for what they truly were BS. Just asking is the instituion of Marriage alive in Massasschutes, in England. FYI: Massassacuts has the lowest divorce rate in the US. Another question whom brought in no fault divorce laws in the US. Laws that made it easier to get divorces in the US. (Then governor of Califorinia Ronald Reagan.) Also which states has the highest divorce rates in the US (Nevada, Tennessee, Arakansas, Alabama, and Oklahoma; the red states) So one final question, which party is really destroying marriage?

Liberals want the government to run everything. Liberals want to run the government. Freedom gets in the way of their quest for power.
