Iran as a nation and a culture doesn't hate Jews -- ans the many Jews in Iran can testify.
Iran's President -- the Jester in Chief -- gets off making comments that provoke moral outrage in others -- including his ambiguous statement about "removing the regime of Israel from the pages of history" (closest direct translation) -- which could mean anything.
But because it could mean anything -- it pushes lots of people's buttons. Which is exactly what he wants.

They are. Just not now. Right now, Iranian Jews are not being exterminated because they are politically expedient. If and when Iran suceeds in destroying Israel, that surely will change. The Nazi's didn't begin exterminating the Jews right away either. The Nuremberg laws had a provision for "protecting" the subhumans, and even a model concentration camp was set up to show how well the Jews were treated there (the average life expectancy at that camp was a whopping 7 months).
Jews in Iran say what they are told to say by the regime. They have no freedom to leave the country and no freedom to criticize their treatment. Thus, their statements about how great their lives are are utterly worthless.

Heck there's a Jewish member of Iran's parliament. Further, in the run-up to WW II, the Iranian embassy in France smuggled FRENCH Jews out of France and into Iran, claiming them as Iranian Jews - and saving their lives in the process.
Not apologizing for everything Iranian, but a little perspective might calm this paranoid nation of ours.
[added] So many idiots to educate, so little time. Mr. Smartypants, what are we gonna do to finish the job?

Because Ahmedinejad (who isn't Iran incarnate, by the way, just the head of its government) keeps announcing he wants to see the State of Israel wiped off the map. The rest of the Jews he can worry about later. But as long as he targets Israel, he can declare that his beef with the population of Israel is political, and not good old-fashioned anti-Semitism. And that way, he can still make out with the Neturei Kartaniks when they come to visit his holocaust denial conferences. (http://tundratabloid.blogspot.com/2006/12/iranian-holocaust-denial-conference.html) Which must be important to Ahmedinejad, what, with there not being any homosexuals in Iran!
A lot of Islamists like President Ahmedinejad don't necessarily object to the existence of Jews in general, or Christians. But these people of the book need to be subjugated, and reminded of their status as second-class subjects. In Israel, the Jews have the audacity to act as if it's their state. Their state, on ISLAMIC land, which imperial Muslim armies rightfully conquered!
And that's why Israel's Jews are in danger of being wiped off the map, and Iran's Jews aren't. Because they claim a part of the map, however miniscule it may be relative to the rest of the world, or even the rest of the Islamic Middle East. Iran's Jews don't claim sovereignty over Iran. So as long as they keep their heads down, and know their place, and keep parroting the same anti-Zionist rhetoric that the state has been spoon-feeding them for their entire lives, they're safe - for now. But lets see how safe an Iranian Jew is if he or she tries to emigrate to Israel! The Iranian Jew's safety is dependant on his or her accepting the aforementioned conditions. And that's just for now. As it has been throughout history, the safety of the Jew in Iran is tenuous at best. But based on your logic, prior to the ethnic cleansing of the Jews of the Arab world, those Jews weren't in grave danger. But that's all Israel's fault, right? Perhaps you see the mass expulsion of the Jews of the countries of the Middle East as justified by the actions of other Jews? How far do you want to take this?
Obviously, your question isn't really intended as a question. Religious or political questions here on YA are rarely questions, and almost always rhetorical statements with a question mark at the end. And yours suggests a fundamental ignorance of the relationship between the State of Israel and the Diaspora, as well as the history and current state of Jewish-Islamic relations, as well as Iran's current president, the things he has said, and his beliefs (assuming for example, that threats against Israel constitute threats against Iran's Jews, and that if Iran's Jews aren't in immediate danger, somehow Iran is free of anti-Semitism, which is complete bullsh*t, not to mention that the threats to wipe Israel off the map were voiced most recently by Iranian President Ahmedinejad, and not by "Iran," and I'm not even going to comment on the dangers inherent in acting as if any country can speak with a single, collective voice. If you wanted to say "if Ahmedinejad supposedly hates Jews" you should have said that - then, with the issue made clear, the rest of us could set you straight).
My advice to you is to study the issues from all sides, and actually get a grasp of who actually said or did what, and why, before spouting off asinine rhetorical questions.
In any event, I hope you find the above information helpful.

Every week this comes up, and every week you get the same answer:
1. They are in grave danger. But stepping forward and indicating they would like to leave would be suicide.
2. Virtually all of the Jews who could have gotten safely out of Iran did so years ago.
3. You're a pathetic anti-Semite.

They are.
Half a million Jews have already fled Iran for Israel--the few that remain remain out of fear. Iran has threatened the lives of the Jews left if they leave.
