Actually, why would any state, liberal or conservative, have a law requiring any retailer to sell gasoline or any product at a certain markup ?

I can understand having a law saying they cannot sell for less than wholesale.

Thats product dumping, we have certain asian countries who do that. They sell products in the US for less than it cost them to make the products, to try and gain market share and drive competitors out of business.

Currently, the President is constitutionally limited to two terms. Neither house of Congress is limited.

Should either be term limited? Should both? Neither?

I was originally going to ask people to choose only limiting both or limiting neither, but that seemed too restrictive a question.

Should federal judges be term-limited too?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Harry Truman's approval ratings reached a 25% low, yet he is known as a great president today.

Do you think we may reach a time when President Bush is also called a "great president" in spite of his current 28% approval rating?

Does President Bush's comment about the queen giving him a look "only a mother could give a child", after his slip-up on the date she began her reign, soun shockingly acurate?
If you think about it the English settlers founded this country with different ideas about government. So it stands to be concieved that America as a nation is that of a fledging child in comparison to it's mother nation England.
Decent analogy?

She is America's famous celebrity and socialite... She is a role model for our teenage girl and the dreamgirl for boys. She brings glamour and excitement into our otherwise mundane life... Should we go to that website and sign the petition so that the symbol of America is free again?!

At what point does are debt become unsustainable? 15 trillion? 20 trillion? What happens if we lose US dollar hegemony and oil is bought with the Euro? What happens when foreign investment dries up because our Central Bank has been printing currency as if it were monopoly money and inflates the heck out of it?

Will all this happen by accident?

In 2008, there is no chance in hell that you will have a majority in the House or the Senate. Best of all, no way will a Republican be President for a long, long time. Thanks to the lies and ineptness of Bush and his blind followers in Congress, it will be a truly Democratic nation for a long time to come!

Don't like it? Take your own uneducated and ridiculous advice that is thrown all over this site: "If you don't like it, leave the country!" LOL, bye now.
