What is the definition of a stable Iraq? I think you could poke holes in the legislate itself and protect itself theory forever because what nation in the middle east is stable in both regards?

OK, now what do you think of a nation that would stand idly by while a much weaker nation was being terrorized by a horrible leader (such as Saddam) or another country against the tyranny of a large country (such as when Iraq invaded Kuwait)

Something tells me, that if the U.S. took 15 Iranian hostages in similar circumstances, liberals would be accusing Bush of trying to start WW3. Here, we have liberals silent on Iran's behavior. Is it because liberals are the American branch of Al Qaeda?

IS BUSH A LIAR? IF HE IS:

Name ONE lie, and show me the evidence of it.

DO NOT tell me to read a book

DO NOT link me to a website: because i can not debunk all of those in one thread

GIVE ME ONE SPECIFIC LIE (make it a nice big one, not something about the weather, or that will just show how much you need to stretch to try to make him look bad) and the EVIDENCE to support it.

IF YOU CALL HIM A LIAR, AND CAN NOT DO THAT, CONSIDER YOURSELF WORTHLESS HYPOCRITE!

I was in the UAE a while back and went on one of these Jeep Safaris and got talking to the driver who was a native Emiratey. We got on to the delicate subject of terrorism and he said that the reason Terrorist organisations have been unsuccessful in recruiting in the UAE was the simple fact of people being educated to high standards and that the education system for nationals was free and of an excellent standard.

Is this a too simplistic view? Your thoughts please?

How can anyone argue that pulling out of Iraq before the government can secure itself, would not end up hurting us in the future?

How can anyone argue that a public time line would not be the same as giving your battle plans to the enemy?

Sending US troops into a Muslim country in the middle of a civil war (Iraq) of over 35,000,000 where they can't tell the difference between a terrorist & an innocent Iraqi civilian, US "rules of engagement" often times don't allow them to kill the terrorists & the anarchy of the war only creates more terrorists or

getting the terrorists into the Western world where they stick out like sore thumbs & where the US military/Special forces & US intelligence can much more easily illminate them (before they can do any damage)?

The way I see it, if we are passive in our stance (like Fance, Canada, etc.), that we better get used to the idea of having suicide bombings in the US and in the UK. Unless we make our stance strong by having a continued presence in the middle east and continue to fight the war on terror in THEIR neck of the woods, then we will have to start fighting this war in our own backyard. They (middle eastern countries) hate the West...whether we do anything or not. If we help them, they hate us....if we ignore them, they hate us. The real issue here is that they are jealous of our success as a country. Since we will probably never make them happy, we might as well be safe by managing the issue on THEIR turf and not ours. Therefore, how can people justity us leaving the middle east to manage itself?

Why did they add $25 Billion in pork for their special interests to the war funding bill if the bill's "real" intention is to set a timetable for the withdrawal of troops?

What are Democrats going to do when the bill is vetoed because of the $25 Billion in add-ons? Will they remove them?
