Something tells me, that if the U.S. took 15 Iranian hostages in similar circumstances, liberals would be accusing Bush of trying to start WW3. Here, we have liberals silent on Iran's behavior. Is it because liberals are the American branch of Al Qaeda?

I understand your frustration whenever other nations do anything against international law liberals are usually silent just like how the moderate Muslims are when their extremist elements in that religion commit atrocities.

There is one sure thing you can count on the majority of liberals inconsistency in their outrage and blame the US for all that's wrong in the world (It is a mental condition)

A) The liberals only do it because no one can stop them without being called insensitive or a bigot and B) You are guaranteed no rights as a "citizen" until you go through 5 years of naturalization, obatin a job, demonstate a working knowledge of english, pass a test, and have two witnesses vouch for your character. If the liberals give all the rights of citizens to anybody affected by this nation, then what the point of having citizenship in the first place. There is something wrong when naturalized citizens have their rights or wellbeing placed in jeopardy by non citizens, especially when condoned by the government that is supposed to be protecting us as citizens under both the Declaration and the Constitution.
C) In response to manbearpig's answer: There were only two senators who didn't vote to go into Iraq, I think, I need to look it up again. Also, if you had any sense, you would know that everything that happens on this planet is for the corporate interest. It is what makes the world go round. Wars are not immoral, they are a part of existence. They further existence into the future, without them worse things than wars would happen. Also, not all republicans are "gun-toting", "homophobic", "racist f*cks". Ever heard of the log cabin republicans? Try pulling your head out of your *** sometime, and do some research before you come and start spouting some political bs spoon fed to you by some other moron who had it fed to them.

Not only up in arms but running to get those Iranians attorneys and bail. They would demand that all constitutional rights currently held by US citizens be transferred to these poor misunderstood captives. The network news talking heads would be bringing up stories of alleged torture and mistreatment, of unlawful detainment and disregard for international law. Many would want Bush tried as a war criminal. The platitudes would be flying, "we are only as free as the least free among us", "hate is not a family value", "no blood for oil", you get it, right? How do I know this? It is already happening with regards to the Gitmo detainees. It is not that liberals are the American branch of al qaeda, it is that they are so arrogant in their selfrightouness that they actually believe that they would come to no harm if the US were to become part of an islamic caliphate. News flash to liberals, you would be the first to go.

Why can't you just accept that there are people in this country who do not share your opinion? The people who want peace at any cost don't understand the complexities of war...

As for people of the liberal spectrum, they would not be happy with people being hostages.

Don't even joke about those people being Al Qaeda.

People of different political leanings live in America, always have and always will.

The people you are angry with are probably being silent because they are letting the government respond appropriately. It is not their business to criticize Iran; it is their business to make sure AMERICAN government does its job with fairness.

Just as the conservative people make sure there is fiscal balance, the liberal people make sure there is humanity in all the actions of government.

No, the liberals are Not the American branch of Al Qaeda. Even terrorists have better hiring practices than that. If you want to find terror cells in the US, I’d recommend looking hard at your local Quickie Mart. The liberals are more of a modern Communist party. They Don’t have the guts it takes to become terrorists, but they have the knee-jerk reaction speed required to kneel before them.

Didn't many of them accuse Bush of just that when the Iranian Revolutionary Guards were captured in Iraq a short time ago?

When did theBritish sailors become hostages? They were agents of a foreign military power entering the waters of a sovereign nation, for what purpose we don't know. Britain's allyt, the U.S., has been sending commandos into Iran for over a year in preparation for whatever it is the Bush admin. plans to do. So why should the Iranians assume innocent intentions?

If 16 Iranian sailors or commandos were captured off the Atlantic coast of, say, North Carolina, yes I would favor holding them pending an explanation or a deal.

Yes.

Funny how crossing an imaginary line can get you into trouble.

Johnny Depp, portraying George Jung said it best: "Whats the big deal? I crossed an imaginary line to bring some plants into the states."

I've lost count, but it seems the US military has been capturing Iranian nationals found inside Iraq for the past three months now. There have been several reports about this, but none lately.

Have you looked at the news about President Bush's attempts to link terror inside Iraq with Iran?
