Is it just to protect the domestic ethanol industry against, say, brazilian ethanol (which is cheaper)? Isn't this basically just a stealth fuel tax given President Bush's mandate to use more ethanol in domestic blends?

-CO2 traps heat in, and causes global warming
-humans give off large amounts of CO2 because of burning fossils fuels

For those who say humans have no influence on global warming, which of these facts do you dispute?

And don't start talking about Mars increasing in temperature, or the heat waves in the middle ages. That has nothing to do with the question, and is circumstantial evidence anyway.

How many carbon offsets does Al Gore have to purchase to compensate for each mornings bowel movement?

People keep trying to compare this to Vietnam. Where are the protests, where is ht music, where is the political and social upheaval from the 60's?

I am worried about where it might stop. The Liberals infest the judiciary and the media, so they can be judge, jury, and executioner in both the courts and in the media. Further, and more insidious in my opinion, they control education, so they can further spin reality and twist it into whatever sick fanatsies they have.
