Well, let's see.
Worldwide panic and fear.
National debt through the roof, and then the next roof.
Thousands and thousands dead.
Other countries in ruin.
Own country worse off than ever.
Soldiers who gave their best, being treated like crap upon return with no medical benifits.
Uhhhhhhhhhhh.
I dunno. Maybe he's just really annoying or something.

You have got to be kidding right? Where have you been for the last six years? Have you not noticed what the heck happened?
What positive things are we supposed to say? That the national debit has gone through the roof? The war in Iraq which was supposed to be a cake walk has turned out to be another Vietnam? The Patriot Act which has robbed people of a lot of their civil rights? His Immigration policies? His handling of North Korea and Iran nuclear ambitions? His handling of the United Nations?
Please tell me where is there something to be positive about. If you can, you are a better person than me.

Because he is republican and did something the democrats never did due to being afraid to. He brought a war upon the Islamic Fascists after we get attacked ONCE by them. We were attacked 5 times under Clinton's Presidency. All Clinton ever did was say don't pay attention to it and it will go away. 5 times we were attacked by Islamic Fascists and not once did we ever threaten them at least.
But that comes with being President, always the one to blame for everything.
For everything about the economy being down, worldwide fear, and all this other crap. Let's see the economy wasn't all that great when Clinton was in office if you look back, but since most liberals are pot smokers they are lucky to remember what I wrote in the first paragraph of this answer. Clinton left the country open to be nuked when he shut down our missile detection system to save money and put in economy, he shut down military bases for same reason, he was on a payroll for Saddam to look the other way while he made chemical missiles and other acts, such as helping in training Al-Qaida members, and Clinton sold valuable rocket technology to China for a hefty price leaving China with a missile program that can take us out if it ever comes down to it. But no, can't talk bad about the democratic party or else you are considered being intolerant towards gays and "rights" of the American people. Well if we gave the left all they want we won't have anymore rights, truth, or freedom. Mainly because Islamic Fascists will have taken over because the government had turned in spineless limp wrist idiots.
I am glad Bush brought a war upon Al-Qaida, I just wish he would keep up with it. But somewhere along the line he ran out of steam, the democrat party doesn't help any, but still, he can pardon the Marines that are wrongfully locked up for doing their job right. He can pardon the border patrol agents who are locked up from shooting back at a drug dealer trying to cross the border and the DA actually flies to Mexico and brings the drug dealer back to testify against the border patrol agents!! But he doesn't, he is instead bringing Iraqi refugees without any prior or any kind of knowledge about the millions he is bringing in. Everything is backwards now. I wish we still had General Eisenhower, General Patton, and General MacArthur with us and as our leaders. It is all going down the drain and neither party anymore is helping us out.

There are many errors that he has made. But to say that is unfair because he can only make them if congress approves of the action in the first place.
The first mistake was to shift America's focus on the war on terror in Afghanistan (where the enemy was and is) to the war for cheap oil in Iraq. There were no terrorists in Iraq prior to our invasion, Saddam would not have these zealots undermining his authority. Not only has this allowed Al Qaeda and the Taliban to regroup, but it has pitted almost the entire world against us. Remember when nearly everyone in every country supported the invasion in Afghanistan?
He and the congress have allowed the honor, integrity, and ideals of the United States of America to perish in this war by allowing America to become just another country who tortures innocent people and denies basic human rights to our prisoners. This is absolutely the most nefarious and inexcusable mistake in my book. I will forever be embarrassed.
Hurrican Katrina. I can accept that for the first 24 hours, the government was not informed about the conditions on the Gulf Coast - I don't believe it, but I can accept that nothing happened in the way of help. After 5 days help finally begins to slowly arrive. How quickly we can mobilize for fairy tale threats in the Middle East, but it takes nearly a week for any federal help to reach our own country.
At his request, congress has increased federal spending to record deficits. Last time I checked this was not the fiscal policy of "Republicans".
He has increased the size of the government and its bureauocracy - Not Republican
He has consistently favored policies and laws which increase government involvement and control in the private lives of US citizens. While I don't blame him for pandering to his Christian extremist base - these policies are inconsistent with the traditional "Republican" platform.
As a Republican, I blame him and the congress for these errors.

Matt is terrified to think for himself and Army Wife has the best balanced answer although I still question the first election. In the light of history, he may not turn out to be as bad as portrayed, but his desire for power has led him into bad decisions which are becoming more obvious.
All leaders become less desirable the longer they are around. P E Trudeau, Jean Chretien and Brian Mulroney are all good examples and I have concerns about Harper although so far he hasn't done anything really stupid which is why his popularity is growing.

Nice question... especially because we remember a time when all Americans loved him...
But what did he do?
He cheated to become president. He misunderstood the terror threat. He pushed the USA into useless, costly wars. He ignored all environmental problems, especially the climate change. He let corrupt bastards gather around him and allowed them to make even more money. He vandalized freedom. He damaged the economy. He did not take care of the poor, but fattened the rich.
And, worst of all, he divided the american people - long, long ago, Julius Cesar said in Rome: "divide and conquer". In his eyes, there are good and bad Americans. But the citizens of the USA are one people, but extremely manifold.
The good thing about the american people is that, if the time comes, it is ready for fast, drastic changes. It is time to show him american citizen power.

He has a vision for peace in the Middle East that could lead to world peace and stability. It starts by establishing democracy and rule of law. Unfortunately, it’s not an easy road and it’s going to take a lot of time and effort. There are a lot of bad people in that region that don’t want to see individuals have the power to decide their own fate.
To answer your question, most people like the easy road and it is much easier to sit back in rich western countries and let repressive regimes oppress their people. Just like during the cold war

George W. Bush has done more great harm to this otherwise great country of ours than if 10,000 Terrorists had destroyed every building in the city of New York!
His Frace of a War Debt will hang around the necks of your great, great, great, grand children and every American living today will suffer in some way as a result of him and his failures and screw-ups!
America will never be able to return to its prior position of Credibility and Power in the Free world!
Lo Siento!

I don't know. Maybe you should ask the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, wives, sweethearts, friends and relatives of the 3000+ soldiers who have died because the administration "mis-calculated" the extent to which Saddam had WMDs, and capability to use them against the continental United States.
