It is strange... They will trumpet the amount of deaths (minus the terrorists) in Iraq, but they will try to suppress the amount of unborn slaughtered in our own country and cry HIPAA.

What is wrong with these 'people'?

You are right but liberals will bang on about rights like life of the unborn comes second to a woman's rights. To those who go on about Iraq the soldiers chose to serve in the knowledge that they might not return the unborn has no such luxury. The idea that the issue of abortion is just a woman's rights issue is a immoral disgrace its about time this was addressed.

I have no problems with people knowing the amount of abortions in this country. I wish we could reduce the abortion rate, and it may be possible if we could teach real sex education in our schools. Which is obvious when you hear the ignorant questions about sex and pregnancy on this site. I am not pro-abortion, I don't want to see more abortions and I myself would never chose abortion, however it's not for me to choose for every other women in this country.
I do not want the death count "trumped" up as you say, however I think the American people have a right to know how many of their men and women are coming back from Iraq in caskets and how many others are coming back with disfiguring injuries....why are some people trying to hide these facts? I can't imagine any US soldier saying...please don't tell anyone I died fighting in this war.

Abortion seems more important than terrorism to me right now. Our government has told us that to keep terrorism from our soil, we will need to continuously "fight them over there". We're gonna need more guys and girls to go over there. We need to stop this abortion nonsense. Because we will need more soldiers and not scholars, we should close up many of the nation's universities and begin using them as military prep schools. Starting immediately, there's no time to waste, we start forcing pregnant women thinking about abortion to have their babies. They give them up for adoption at the end of the term and then the child would be nurtured in a military environment where the only love they will receive is that from Jesus. When they turn 18, they will be model christian men and women, born to end the lives of jihadists.

My plan will end abortion, close the most liberal schools in America, and keep the war on terror where it belongs - over there.

Why do CONservatives claim they support a "Culture of life", yet think that 500,0000+ plus Iraqis dying is OK (sure some of them were terrorists, and play with fire you might get burned) but most of the Iraqis killed were just innocent bystanders?

Why are you against liberals who want to save the lives of US troops by bringing them home?

Why do CONservatives (by state voting patterns) have more divorces than liberals?

How come CONservatives don't want sex education taught in school?

Your question about HIPAA is not very well thought out.

Abortion is legal, for now. HIPAA has a clause that guarantees the privacy of individuals who receive medical care of any type.

Liberals are not "Crying HIPAA". Self-righteous CONservatives like yourself want to violate the privacy of someone who made a very difficult decision and publicly humiliate them.

Sounds like "What would Jesus Do" to me.

"Not so much."

Try actually following your religion.

Why don't we mash up a few more political stances that do not go together?

Why do the Republicans think it is okay to kill someone at some points in life but not others? (Death Penalty) Does god speak to them and say it is okay to forget that commandment?

Aren't those two different views?

I am a little miffed because I don't agree with the deaths in Iraq or the proliferation of abortions. Keep your prejudices off of me.

What's wrong with you? This is two completely different issues. Are you a freedom, liberty loving American? Then butt out of others business and stop trying to use the police powers of the government to legislate you beliefs.

They do not have the ability of abstract or comparative thought to see a terrorist as a direct threat to them unless a building is collapsing. They see a baby as a direct threat to their ability to bed hop and live a hedonistic lifestyle. Their main concern is what affects their ability to feel as if they saved the world.

People that don't know the Bible should not start throwing out comments about God and his commandments until they have read the Bible and understand what it means. Just because you heard some liberal spew something out of context about "thou shall not kill" doesn't mean you know what you're talking about when you regurgitate it.

I'd prefer to know how many abortions you've had?

And why you're too yellow to go fight in the war you claim to support?
