It is like the kid on the playground teasing and taunting another kid. Bullies get a kick out of this sort of thing. But we have bullies doing much the same thing on the other side too. Albeit fewer ones and fewer incidents but they still exist.

Probably for the same reason that every time a Liberal/Democrat asks a question about Conservatives they use urban legends, false stereo types and half truths.
Urban legends: Dan Quayle and 'latin america' or George HW Bush and the supermarket scanner.
False Stereo Types: Republicans are against civil rights. Republicans pushed for the civil rights acts of 1957 and 1964, while the Democrats moved to weaken the 1957 act and fillibustered the 1964 act to try to prevent its passage.

Sorry but I think it is the other way around. Almost every post I see from a far-left liberal is angry, mean and nasty. They are telling lies about Conservatives and claiming motives that not close to fact.
