I am worried about where it might stop. The Liberals infest the judiciary and the media, so they can be judge, jury, and executioner in both the courts and in the media. Further, and more insidious in my opinion, they control education, so they can further spin reality and twist it into whatever sick fanatsies they have.

Should I be worried for myself and my children?

You're wrong about the judiciary, at least politically. Most judges are very apolitical. Personal viewpoints of judges regarding the law varies a lot, but radical views, both 'liberal' and 'conservative', infest the judiciary far more than we'd like. Your chances in a court case shouldn't be a toss of the dice based on which judge you pull.

You're also wrong about the Libby trial. Being an actual trial conducted by the normal justice system, this was a lot more fair than trials and commissions in Congress.

You are correct about worrying what liberals in Congress will do. Trials, investigations, and special commissions in Congress are extremely political. I'd expect to see intense scrutiny on any Republican transgression, no matter how minor, while handling Democratic transgressions will be a serious challenge for Dems.

The same was true when Republicans controlled Congress. The likes of Republican Joel Hefley, who was chairman of the House Ethics committee, are pretty rare. When you consider that he and the other two Republicans that voted to censor Tom DeLay were all removed from the House Ethics committee by Republican leadership shortly after, the reason for the rarity of people like Hefley becomes pretty obvious.

I'd be surprised to see Democrats put ethical politicians onto committees like the House Ethics Committee, but only time will tell.

Yeah, the miscarriage of justice in that case was appalling. I mean, he was acquitted on one of the charges. What's up with that?

worried for your children yes. you act like all liberals think and act in unison, one giant mob constantly working to enslave you. not the case, liberals care far more about injustices than do conservatives. libby perjured himself and lied to the fbi, convicted by a jury of his peers, just like those crazy liberal founders wanted. that's justice buddy.
