look at it this way if we stay in iraq will the terrorist quit doing thier terrible deeds--if we leave iraq will the terrorist quit doing thier terrible deeds--the answer to both is NO..terrorism is a fact of life in every country in the civilized world the difference for us here in the US is that we have people running our government who are warmongers and so long as it isnt thier children then its ok if our young men and women are maimed and killed...and also its about oil--oil-oil

Pretty funny for them to exhort to undermining our own Government intelligence to fabricate this facade. Scooter got busted for four felony's, and they can't seam to realize the damage this has caused the GOP party as a whole. BJ's don't = espionage.

You know, I was actually starting to take your question seriously until you said this conflict is about oil. You and everyone else that says this have no facts to back up this statement. If Iraq is really about oil, then why are gas prices still so high? You would think after being over there for four years, we would gas prices would have dropped by now if we had some interest in their oil. As far as terrorists following us home. Well, how can they follow us home when they are already here? There are some 1,400 terrorist cells operating in this country right now. Iraq is a huge deal for the USA. Have you noticed that because that country is unstable, it has caused the rest of the Middle East to become unstable. I want to see this mission accomplished. That way our soldiers don't die in vain. And if we don't finish the mission like last time we were over there. What makes you think we won't have to go back in another ten years?

No. Bush's "vision" for a stable, democratic Middle East will never happen. Democracy will fail, theocracy will reign. One million american troops will only stabilize Iraq for as long as they are there. When we leave the country it will descend back into the chaos that we currently see. It doesn't matter when we leave, the result will be the same. The terrorists only came to Iraq because we presented ourselves as a close target, if we left, they'd follow us only to the extent that they've flocked here since 9/11. What the government needs you to do is be in a constant state of fear - that's why they have Fox News feed you that crap.

The warmongers as you call them seem to have a point. If as you suggest the civilized world must simply put up with terror it seems reasonable to have terrorists strike elsewhere. Since our invasion of Iraq no terrorist attack has been committed on US soil. That would validate the "warmongers" point of view. Your simplistic claim that terror is all about oil ignores the fact that terrorists have been active in China, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia, France, Germany, The UK, Holland, Russia, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Lebanon, and everywhere else islam has reared it's hateful head. Leaving Iraq will not stop terrorists from their goal of destroying western civilization, only killing them will. It seems better to kill them on foreign soil where the collateral damage will not be the children of Americans you pretend to be concerned with but rather the children of the terrorists and those who support them in islamic countries around the world. You like most liberals always seek to blame western culture, our capitalist lifestyle, and the US in particular for the barbaric savagery of people who's only goal in life is to kill those who don't agree with their vision of the world.

I think you have some good points. I do believe that we will always have terrorism. But i also believe that right now it would be impossible to leave Iraq. I am so against it right now but the fact is that we are there and if we leave it will become worse. I really can't wait for the us to get a new president and for us to see this new president have the same struggles that Bush has right now. I do not think there is answer for this!

all of the terrorist follow us here, no. many of the terrorist follow us, no. a very few of the terrorists, probably. of the very few, how many will be able to orchestrate some kind of an attack?, a very small percentage. will their attack be a big one?, very doubtful ( in the big picture of things).

i dont see what is stopping them from coming now, or 3 years ago , or 3 years in the future.

the US govt has to keep a Boogie Man on the front page to sufficiently scare the public into accepting govt spending and activities without questioning.

when i was young it was the communist. THE RUSSIANS ARE GOING TO KILL US ALL!! well, it turned out that the russians couldnt defeat afganistan, half of their military equiptment was inoperable, the majority of the rest was rigged together with baling wire. half of their military was completely unreliable. they were a paper tiger, a basket case. and our CIA didnt even know this until fall of berlin wall.

The latest terrorists were elected to office in 2000. We did not have any terror attacks before then. Oh, if you are thinking about the WTC in '93......that was the old terrorists that were in office.
Look up Operation Northwoods......we had terrorists back then....and they were called the US government.

Herein lies the difference between the "warmongers" and your surrender monkey ilk: You, in your own words, accept terrorism as a fact of life to be both lived with and capitulated to. "Warmongers", on the other hand, do not and would rather fight.

Hurry up and lay me an egg.

I think you're wrong, and the best example of what will happen in the future is to look at what happened in the past. That slacker, Clinton, neglected to respond to repeated attacks against US interests across the golbe and the net result was that the terrorists became emboldened. They viewed us as a paper tiger.

Now the bluster and they try, but they are being beaten back all over the place. They make noise but they don't have very many successes anymore.

That business about it being for oil is hogwash. It's all about security. If you can't see that, I feel sorry for you.

Educate yourself on what the jhad is all about! There is NO barginning chip on the table with these fanatics! If you think them killing their own people, in the same religion, leaves us a pass your assumption is unfounded. Why haven't you looked at the cowards, who have for years recruited suicide bombers, but not their own family members. You talk about Govt not sending their family members, but who's the last music star, or hollywood actor/actress thats volunteered? How about a sports figured? Except for Pat Tillman i can't name one! The other fact you are missing is we get 85% of all our oil from, South America, Canada, and from here. 15% is from the middle east, mainly Kuwait and Saudia Arabia. Fact number 2 is Americans are not willing to curb oil consumption! If you look back in the 80's when the middle east saw we were serious about alternative fuel sources, the prices dropped year after year! The middle east has the cheapest to refine oil on the planet. They dictate the price! When we try conserving, they cut production. They have set the price, and all other oil producing nations, stay with their bench mark. Fact 3 is all the intel that was run over from the Clinton administration was what the Bush administration went on. The fact is Russia's, China's, Europe's, and Canada's intel was all the same. And if you read the interview of Hillary Clinton in 2002 and 2003 with code pink, she says...QUOTE>>> My own investigation, from my team of investigators, provider me the information i used to cast my YES vote to go to war! She actually used her husband Bill's intel from the mid to late 90's. and it was Sandy Burger who provided most of the data. Now she claims as other she was lied too! Kennedy, Kerry, Hagel, Dodd, Edwards, all stated the same in casting their vote. The liberal media will only saturate you with their agenda, and that agenda is UN-AMERICAN. Dont form an opinion on only half the information. The craziness going on now is all about Iran, Syria, and Lebbanon looking at Democracy expanding in their territory. You are I have no knowledge of what it is like to live in a land that is not FREE. You need to look at a commerical that has been playing daily in Northern Iraq, by the Kurds. It will brighten your day, how thankfull they are of what we are doing! They run this commerical eveyday, but we've ignored it because good news does not sell.

First off, i do not go along with WARMONGERS crap name calling. And in the long run what matters is to not have our country turn into what Europe has. Every time you look, some idiot has blown up something. I do not want that here, and believe me the bottom line WHY of the political actions is so far out of my hands why get all blood pressure up heart rate out of sight about it. Study and vote correctly. Write letters to your reps. join legit. lobbying groups. But steaming out your ears won't do a thing.
