What was it over? And why did it upset you so much? Did it result in physical blows?

Or is it easier just to call all liberals as “baby killers”, all conservatives as “war mongers”, all environmentalists as “hippy vegetarians”?

At what point do you agree that we stop talks and go to war.
Do they have to denoate a nuke on someone first?
What is the point you know giving peace a chance won't work?

Areas with prostitution.
Same area with marijauna bar. You have to smoke in on premesis. The roach would be measured and put in a cigarette holder.
X, XX, XXX rated movie houses and peep shows.
Non paid for tv (CBS, NBC, ABC) would also be unsexualized and less violence put on. And the sin city would not be in city limits, but off on its own. Kind of like its own town? Would you vote for a law like that?

I can imagine that being a former P.O.W. will have plenty of sway during a debate between candidates on the topic of "war."

(For you liberals who never served, P.O.W. means "prisoner of war")

Being a POW holds so much value to the American people I can't imagine how his Democratic opponent will handle it except to say thank you for his service. Any ideas?

If there is still a state of Israel in fifty years, what will it be like? Still committed to a single religion, or become a religion-free democracy with equal rights for all? If all its people have equal rights, will Israel have a Palestinian prime minister when the Palestinian people there are the majority? Will this be achieved without violence and disruption and injustice? Will somebody like Nelson Mandela arise to lead Israel towards a peaceful future free of racism and discrimination?

I have lived at the same place for 10 years and always have received my mail around 11:30 am in the past two years it has been getting later and later.
Today it arrived at 13:50 and I called the Postwatch team to complain and they said "mail should be delivered before 13:30", so my wife called Royal mail customer services to complain and they said "we can't as they have delivered our mail and as long as they deliver in the mid afternoon there is no reason to complain", I then called Postwatch back and explained what had just been said and they replied with "As long as they make one delivery a day there are no grounds for complaint".
Now is this just me or am I getting told a load of rubbish, so basically our mail could turn up at 19:00 and this is okay, Royal mail what a load of crap. why oh why can't we go back to pigeons?.
Anybody else had problems or know a way of making a complaint?

We already pay stupid amounts of tax to use sub-standard roads in the U.K. We also already pay by the mile (fuel duty! the more miles you do, the more fuel you use and the more tax you pay).

I worked out based on proposed “pay buy the mile” it will cost me £14 per day to go to work and back, this on top of the £580 per month Income tax and £290 NI. It’s going to cost me £1150 for the privilege of working hard for a month. (These calculations are approximate and I know “we are all in the same boat”) I suppose I could sit on my butt all day at home and get paid for but that’s one for another day!

Obviously this can’t go ahead so what I would like to propose is that nationally we have one day where we do not use our cars at all!! This would of course require massive public support but I think it would cost the fools in supposed power an awful lot of cash and make them listen. It might also get us some fresh air and keep the tree huggers happy.

you can’t fix the ozone with taxes
