I have lived at the same place for 10 years and always have received my mail around 11:30 am in the past two years it has been getting later and later.
Today it arrived at 13:50 and I called the Postwatch team to complain and they said "mail should be delivered before 13:30", so my wife called Royal mail customer services to complain and they said "we can't as they have delivered our mail and as long as they deliver in the mid afternoon there is no reason to complain", I then called Postwatch back and explained what had just been said and they replied with "As long as they make one delivery a day there are no grounds for complaint".
Now is this just me or am I getting told a load of rubbish, so basically our mail could turn up at 19:00 and this is okay, Royal mail what a load of crap. why oh why can't we go back to pigeons?.
Anybody else had problems or know a way of making a complaint?

So, Jobsdun.... (above) claims to be a postman but can't even spell Royal Mail

ffs what chance have we got!

Our post arrives late, if he bothers at all.
If we have parcels, they usually don't even try to deliver, just stick a card through the door and we have to travel 2 miles to the sorting office and back on a saturday Morning (before 11am cos the lazy gits close early when you need them).

Lazy gits. I worked in the Royal Mail canteen p/t for a couple of months and they were mainly miserable moaning gits.

my your a happy bunch arnt you.the problem is with the royal male and its directors I'm a postman and the reason you all get your mail late now is the management have 1 made are rounds longer wont let us out the office till 8.30 .are walks take 3/12 hours to do so if your at the end of the walk the earliest your gonna get it is 12 o'clock.also if a round isn't covered due to sickness etc then that round gets done on overtime when they pay it after the post mans first round.you try walking round for 3/12 hours when its p i s s i n g down.by the way there soon to make the walks even longer so your mail will be getting even later..in short don't blame your postie blame his directors.try emailing Adam crozier or Alan Leighton.shame you aint got email i could give you it.

Long gone are the days when the post used to arrive at 8.00am. Mine doesnt come til about 11.00am. I have never bothered to find out why and I'm glad I didnt as I would have got the same reply as you I expect. Another case of this country going to the dogs.

If you lived nearer the sorting office, you might get your mail earlier. Me, I don't give a dam what time my postie turns up. If it was 2100 hrs, I wouldn't care. Good luck.........

I don't see your problem. At least you're getting your mail.
