Most of them. They are only aware of what is happening on "Survivor" or "American Idol". They have an earpiece running from their I-Pod or a wireless telephone sticking in their ear and could care less about ANYTHING else. (even their freedom). Talk about hopeless!!!!!

I sometimes give a tip better than the service I received. I know that the waiters get taxed by a percentage of their orders and if I don't leave a tip, they have to pay tax on money they did not receive. Don't disparage our military. I did not join because I was poor, I joined because of the many opportunities in education and travel. I was given the privilege to understand what freedom costs, how other countries view America, and who the people are that have volunteered to give their life, if necessary, for this country. Cowards do hide behind guns. Like the juvenile that killed a 14 year old as he was running away at his birthday party, here in Las Vegas. Or the other one that shot a 12 year old in the face when he answered the door. These kids were not registered gun owners. Where is the common sense?

Your question would have been interesting to answer, had you given a little more detail as guidelines. After the fall of the Soviet Union which helped to stabilize the world between the two super powers, America clearly considers itself the sole masters of the earth and therefore entitled to impose their will and whims on other nations with impunity. I think President Putin's speech during the Security meeting in Munich sums up the feelings of quite a few agitated countries and persons. That said, the majority of Americans are good people, only they frequently make the mistake of electing bad presidents. What they have to realise now is that in a unipolar world controlled by them, their president is not only for them but for the whole world as well. Therefore, they should exercise the greatest caution during the next presidential election.

Sure do.
I personally have lived in 6 different countries in Europe, i have visited 10 countries in the past 15 years. I presently live in Europe and have traveled a good bit.
I speak 2 languages and take my news in both English and German. My wife speaks 4 languages and takes in news in all of them. We are well read and well traveled.
Many people in the world will never have the ability that Americans have to see the world. We are the richest and most mobile people the world has ever seen. We have Americans in every country on God's green earth.
America and Americans have their fingers on the pulse of the planet.
To say other wise is just silly.
By the way many of the people i work with has been to more places and travel far more often than i do.
Hope that helps.

Yes...I am. But with what is going on in our country..it's hard to deal with the rest of the world. Everyone needs to be aware that one day we will become as one. I wonder if that is what John Lennon was referring to in his song..Imagine????

In a word. Yes. It's very simple as only approximately 10% have passports, the lowest proportion in any industrialised nation. The country is so large they tend to travel at home all the time and a very large number are too poor to travel anywhere let alone outside their country. You would be amazed at how many Americans have never travelled outside their own state let alone out of their country, it's scary.

No more than any other country outside of their borders.
Your attempt at generalization is idiotic.
I have been to more than 15 countries and several deployments, where have you gone?
