Been here two days. Read many GOP myths and BS about Clinton, Carter, etc. Nothing that would explain Bush's incompetence and lies.

What makes an otherwise intelligent person support a disaster like Bushie?

Especially with no evidence, other than confirmed right wing liars like O'Rielly and Limbaugh to Back their silly little claims that make no logical sense.

I am not stating my opinion, but I have heard this from several very intelligent people. The first time I heard it, I thought, "hmm, interesting", then over the years, I have heard it from others. I am not knocking it or supporting it or giving any opinion about it but I just want to know...do you think it is true? Why? Please inculde sources or some sort of evidence.

And please folks don't insult me or flame me just for asking an honest question. I will simply have to report you for abuse.

This is just an example of how the world will be someday, like Demolition Man with Sylvestor Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, the wave of the perfect future and World Peace? Is this what you want? A place to be spied on? To know everyone else business? To invade the privacies of others? No free enterprise? A bunch of puppets being controlled by all these self appointed G-ds? Why do they think they are smart enough to know what is good for us? And what makes them think they have the right to control anyone? Freezing people, cloning people, the New World Order? The perfect specimen's? I thought a specimen was what you put in a cup for the Lab? ha ha ?

The newest legislation they are pushing through will attempt to make:

- Homeland Security identity checkpoints on American roads and highways;

- Mandated biometric iris and finger scanning systems for all Americans at airports;

- Creation of a biometric national ID card for all American citizens;

-Expansion of "no-fly" and "watch lists" to prevent more Americans from traveling (even though such lists have been ridiculed time and time again for flagging completely innocent people including Senators and children);

-Increased special screening of all passengers at airports (greasing the skids for invasive body scanners that capture a naked image of the passenger to be implemented as standard);

- Federal takeover of publicly owned communication systems such as radio;

- Increased government surveillance of Americans' financial records and activities;

I feel like Bush and his family had a grudge against Saddam for nothing. I think the country which should have been invaded was Iran- not Iraq.

Do you know how evil the Saudis are and how horrible their country is?

Why were so many Saudi Arabians the actual hijackers, including BinLaden?

And what does Saddam have to do with the war on terror and 9-11?

And of all places, why base a "war on terror" in Iraq? when Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism against America, but you could in fact make a better case against, Saudi Arabia, which is in bed business wise with our country...
Afghanistan's people should be concentrated on, and you would think there would be just as many "terrorists" there as anywhere else in the Middle East===or England, France and Germany, mind you.

So when will you be able to make a case that the "war in Iraq" has anything to do with a "war on terror"?

Clearly, other motives are behind the war in Iraq and you know it, if you can't see something as plain as day as that, you are either a complete moron, or completely brainwashed, or don't care.

"Bush is worse than Saddam Hussein"

I think they should go jump off a cliff. Agreed?
