Cindy Sheehan is about as Anti-American as it gets. So are her fans. This woman isn't educated and most of her followers are sheep. So, I ask you, when 91% of soldiers identify themselves as Republicans, what's with all the Liberal crocodile tears about dieing soldiers? Do you know that soldiers fight wars? Do you believe that Cindy Sheehan is responsible for her son's death--I do.

The Kurds are the dominant population in a region extending from southeast Turkey, northern Iraq and northwestern Iran. They have been viciously repressed, persecuted and mass-murdered for many years.

This is a real injustice. Since the Kurds occupy the entire northern third of Iraq, why doesn't the world allow them to secede and create an independent country for themselves?

Remember: ALL of the borders in the middle east were drawn arbitrarily by the colonial powers in the early to mid 1900's (mostly by the English), so why shouldn't we be more flexible about changing them now, especially when the original ones weren't drawn fairly to begin with? Another example: in the 1920's, the British took 75% of Palestine away from the Jews, and gave it to a small tribe of Hashemites from the Arabian Peninsula. That's just not fair. Why did the British think they had the right to do that? Why can't we correct these injustices today?

Please avoid the abusive answers here. It’s a genuine question, not an attack on the US.

A recent poll in America asked people what they feel the relationship was between Saddam Hussein & Al Qaeda.

18% of US citizens believe Saddam Hussein was directly involved in the 9/11 attacks
32% believe Saddam gave substantial support to Al Qaeda
Only 14% of those asked knew there was no connection at all

Another question asked whether people believed Saddam had WMD before the Iraq war:

28% of American’s said YES – he had WMD
23% said he had a major WMD development program in operation before the war
Only 14% stated Saddam was found to have no WMD or active WMD program

That means over 50% of American’s still link Saddam to 9/11 or to Al Qaeda and 50% think he had WMD or an active WMD program.

I doubt anybody in Britain would link Saddam to 9/11 or believe he had WMD.

Why is this?

by using certain techniques it is possible to inhibit head development in the presentient human embryo. growing to whatever size using artificial wombs we can harvest cloned organs for transplant and in future a complete body prosthesis. it will benefit people in need of limb replacements aswell. this procedure can be implemented immediately but despite my campaigning, governments refuse to implement my proposal. are you willing to campaign governments in order to save the world? also, the same technology can be applied to the production of meats, milk etc. without killing animals in vertical farms and thereby eliminate land as a limiting factor in food production. the resulting increase in population can be controled by government control of artificial womb technology.

Message from a Yank to a Brit?
I'll be straight to the point. America and the United Kingdom are the best of friends and each others greatest allies. Our similarities and the common ground we share far out weighs our differences.
We have always been there for each other ( although sometimes late in coming) and need to maintain our "special relationship". And make no mistake, our relationship is special - but that’s a topic for another time. Anyway, what I see going on between our two countries is just terrible. There is still great love and admiration felt both ways by many of us, but clearly there is a growing divide between our nations. The comments on yahoo answers - which should be taken with a grain of salt - are still disturbing and are very destructive. COMMENTS FROM BOTH US/UK
Bottom line, the hate filled messages we send to one another on here MUST stop.( I admit I too have been guilty of this, but have seen the error of my ways – yes that sounds corny, but I mean it.) There is nothing wrong with disagreeing and debate, but needs to be handled maturely. Why don’t we try using “constructive criticism” rather than personal attacks – which quite frankly are usually off base – and try to objectively examine things as if we were in one another shoes. Never forget we are far more alike than we are different.!

If America and Britain cannot get along, there is no hope for the world.
What say you? How do you feel?

Why oh why should England stay joined to Scotland, lets get that border up asap. Think of all the money we will save in social security payments, what do they have that we want? We dont need them to stand with us, if they want to stand alone let them as long as they dont expect us to keep paying them money for running costs they may have.

Its a major issue in the capital about supporting funding for it. Especially now since the Democrats hold majority in the U.S. Congress. So if they decide to pass legislation for it, they can very likely overturn the President's veto. Personally I'm all for it because to me in an overall basis, the possible results in medical treatments out way the costs, which in this case have the potential to save the lives of millions Americans living today with diseases. But I want to know your opinion. Do you support or oppose empryonic stem cell research. If you do or don't please explain why because I'm hoping to get not only many answers, but many different reasons why. Thanks if you took the time to read this and I appreciate all answers!!!
