Now someone is accusing Pelosi and other Dems of taking kickbacks.
First, that's libel, and will be forwarded to the congresswoman and others. Watch what you post sweetheart, It could come back and bite you. And I doubt you can afford an adequate defense.
Second, since REPUBLICANS created the exemption, did they take kickbacks?

Who cares. Maybe Pelosi did take kickbacks. I would hpo she can afford and adequate defense. The burden would be on her to prove she didn't.
This minimum wage thing is just a ruse, started by the democrats to take Americas eyes off the tax increases they are working on. The minimum wage is a burden to the economy. A person can't afford to keep a family of three on 5.75 an hour, nor can they afford to keep a family of three on 7.25 and hour. To live a comfortable life, have adequate housing, food, clothing, insurances, and transportation, it takes two family members working for about 10-15 dollars an hour. The minimum wage only provides false hope, higher prices and fewer jobs. So aside from the dems being a bunch of liers, they are going to destroy robust economy. Please report me, I need the attention, and would like to write a book about how the democrats ruined my life over minimum wage. Please please please, I might never have to smile at some crummy customer again!!!!!

Why didn't the Democrats remove the exemption from American Samoa, since they are in power?

Because it is so utterly two-faced. Virtually everyone in American Samoa works at minimum wage, for one of two fruit priocessing companies. Since American Samoa is not represented by any voting members in congress, the majority party stands to gain or lose nothing by simply cutting them out. They are subject to our laws, but have no vote.
