I already have and do, I have 2 sons who have been and one is still there. I am against the war but for my sons, I respect their service and think even though the war is wrong and we need out that our troops are brave and honorable

Yes I would support him but not her, I would because the love in me and support is what makes a complete circle of security on their mission. I may not agree with the war but I would agree with my son, if they truly believe that is their calling and they would be able to make a difference in their life as well as the situation. The daughter no, I do not support women soldiering in battle from America unless it is on the home soil. And that is final. Women lose all the respect for the difference and why we are when they go outside of the circle and become the man. Women in battle looks ridiculous for many reasons? How can you imagine her having children, being a wife, or a woman? That is too masculine for me to handle and I am entitled to my opinion and my decisions.

Yes, I would support my child going to war if he was asked to. This war will only finish if the US can help the Iraqis and if the Iraqis can help themselves, then everybody comes home.
Bush is sending more troops if the Iraqi government promises that they will be able to handle their country on their own. If they cannot, then I guess Iraq will be in a civil war.
Congress cannot veto anything, for only the President can only veto bills from Congress.
The congress can impeach the president, only if he is perpously putting the country in danger.

Y E S,if he/she was 18 years old and wanted
to volunteer, I would support them in whatever
career they were interested in and the US Military is an honorable career. Last I heard
there were MEN and WOMEN in the US Armed Forces of the United States of America, not children. The 20,000 troops are needed to really stablize the country and to make sure that we have the Iraqi Army and Navy up tp speed and not make the same mistake that
we did when we CUT AND RUN from VIETNAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Last question is N O!!!!

What a strange question.......Some people may think -- What parent won't support their child? It is sorry thing to say but there are many out there.
While our son was in Iraq ,we had a letter writing campaign going for men that received no mail from home.
That is truly heart breaking - as a mother , I thought it was cruel to treat any child like that.

If one of my children made the decision to go into the military, yes I would support them. I am a veteran myself, and I am very concious of the separation between those who have answered the call of duty, and the responsibility of those who send them.
If more Americans had children wearing the uniform and serving their country, then I think that this administration would have had a much more difficult time selling the war to the American public. But because only a tiny fraction of Americans are related to, or personally know, a serving member of the Armed Forces, the war is a very distant thing to most of them
So while I would support my child, I would go apesh*t on my congressman, my senators ... oh wait, I already have.
Have you?

I support my child in anything he takes on; I would not abandon him; however, I absolutely do not support this war . However, I support the troops already sent into war. Without our support they won't get home. Bush has put the American people in an absolutely impossible position. If we don't support his ideas, then we are against our troops. Not SO. It is time we got out without any more of our men dying.

No I wouldn't. Why? Because STUPID Politicians are ATTEMPTING to fight this war Politically Correct and are making it ALL about Politics rather than VICTORY. We did this Once before. I believe it was called Vietnam. If the STUPID Politicians would let our troops do there job and Keep there DUMB PARTY Politics Out of it. Our troops might allready be returning home with a Victory in hand. They can't fight Both the ENEMY over there and the POLITICIANS over here. thats to much for even our HERO's to overcome.

If I believed any were capable of being good soldiers, yes I would . It is their choice, and I believe some feel the calling to fight for their country.
