I really doubt it. Any solution Rice would have would be in Israel's best interests and of course no Palestinian would accept more injustices...

Are you kidding the GW Bush token Black Woman? ha ha ha ha
That is ridiculous, she had death threats the whole time there.
I am not against her being Black or a woman personally but let us really look at the facts of why she is there? He is a bigot, and hateful. How could anyone avoid seeing what she is? Do you think the Israelis are stupid, they will parlay with her but she is not Golda Meier let's face it. And they may want peace but they are not the Arabs, and the Arabs want her dead? She is a Black woman, not to repeat myself, but first they don't respect women, and they do not like Africans whether they are from Africa,American or the moon? The people in league with Bush on the Arab end will tolerate her for that reason otherwise they would dust her right now. She is considered an Infidel. However China has sworn allegiance to Israel and if they have her to take the glory of a peace talk for publicity for the up and coming elections, that would be the plan. So again she is a token. The real threat to the Arabs now is China.

Do you mean Rice or do you mean George?

Israel was created by those who do not understand the Scriptures in any form and think Jews have some kind of right there when Israel lost the Land in their breach of their own Laws, parts of which are in the Bible, when they succeeded ib crucifying two thieves on the Sabbath in their failed attempt at having the Christ crucified.

The Land is cursed and Rice and Bush and USA and Un cannot change that.

Israel must accept the Quran for any peace at all.

If we had spent all the money we have spent on blowing up other people on rice over the last five years, and gotten that rice to all the people in the world who have no food I think the world would be a more peaceful place than it is now. As for Condi, she's not Israeli, she's not Palestinian, so its really not her problem. Can Israel make peace with itself? Can Palestine make peace with itself? Whats more important - living with peace (of mind, of heart, of security) or being right?

No one can make peace in Israel, except the Israeli's and Palestinians themselves. When they decide they want peace, they will settle their differences.

The larger question is, how much pressure should the rest of the world, especially the US put on them to compromise with each other to achieve peace.

The main issues are :

1. Israeli settlements in the west bank.
2. The Palestine right of return.
3. Security guarantees for Israel

No peace forced from the outside will last, the people themselves have to want it, before it has a chance to succeed.

Israel has already reported it is going to proceed it truly is attacks on the Hezbollah even notwithstanding Rice is attempting to barter peace. i'd imagine with a view to barter some form of peace between 2 activities, they'd both must be keen to have some form of peace. i don't believe of she will be in any respect efficient in getting the scuffling with to quit except the Hezbollah is keen to resign their guns. i don't believe of that is going to take position. Hezbollah is a huge-spread terrorist team. They killed over 2 hundred Marines in the 1980's, attacked the united statesCole with a bomb, and characteristic dedicated different acts of terrorism. i will no longer help yet ask your self what a "quit fireplace contract" skill to a terrorist team and could you ever fairly believe them. What would it not advise to them besides? would it not advise they could bypass back to doing corporation as popular?

Rice must tell Israel to return lands to Palestinians in order that there will be peace in the Middle East.

Dr. Rice is dead wrong. The "road map" is dead and cannot serve as a basis for peace in the Middle East.

The reason for the conflict between Israel and the Arabs is that the Arabs, plain and simple, refuse to accept a Jewish state in their midst. They invented this whole idea of a "Palestinian people who deserve a state" just to use as a tool to dismember Israel.

Arab violence against Jews has been going on long before there was an occupation, long before there was a refugee problem--indeed, long before there was a political Zionist movement. Need I present more painful examples? Perhaps even further back, where I hope everyone will agree that the Zionist movement did not yet come into being:

In the centuries after Muhammad there have been periods when the Jews were able to live in relative peace under Arabs, but their position was never secure. They were generally viewed with contempt by their Arab neighbors, and their survival was always predicated on their abject subordination and degradation to them. Mass murders of Jewish "protected people" started in Morocco as early as the eighth century, where Idris I wiped out whole communities. A century later Baghdad's Caliph al-Mutawakkil designated a yellow badge for Jews (setting a precedent that would be followed centuries later in Nazi Germany), and synagogues were destroyed throughout Mesopotamia in 854-859. In Tripolitania, Jews were considered the property of their Arab masters, who would bequeath the Jews to their heirs upon death. In the 12th century, after anti-Jewish riots, the contemporaries commented that their population had 'greatly declined.' ( Middle East Digest, September 1999)

As to how to solve the problem, the only way would be for Israel to defeat the Arabs overwhelmingly, and then dictate the terms for peace. Otherwise, the Arabs will never stop trying to destroy Israel.

Most Israelis want peace. Yet peace to the Israeli lobby in Washington means the end of their business. Israeli issues of peace and war is the last thing on their minds. Rice should make peace with Israeli lobby in Washington not with the poor Israelis who are kept to fight wars for no lasting peace. Its up to the Israeli lobby not to the Israeli government.

Israel will never have "peace" until The Lord returns. There will be the 7 year tribulation of declared "peace" in the holy land; but that is the time of the anti-christ rise. If you never read a page in the bible, take the time for Revelations.
