No question, the poor due to sheer numbers. All that would needed to be reached is a breaking point, a sort of critical mass which initiates the process of a revolution of the social classes.

Well, there are more, many more, poor. But the weapons are all on the side of the rich (see recent discussions about the military industrial complex.)
Actually, since I am working-class poor, I have to say that I think the rich are already in a war against us. They use our children for cannon fodder in their wars. They send our jobs to China (that once-dreaded Communist, non-human-rights having country...). They squeeze us for every drop of money we make. (No "loop-holes" for us).ETC. Etc. etc.
EDIT: Bet you will be surprised by this answer from this Super Liberal--I think that they "bribe" us every few years by letting us think we have elected a Democrat! (And that this Dem. is somehow different...)

For the most part I would say the poor people, given that they know how to deal with life's struggles, unlike the rich, which is being served on a silver platter.
BUT, keep in mind they will pay poor people also to be on their side and fight their war! Money is the root to all evil.
I'll bet anyone two cents to disclaim my answer.

The poor can whine, but the rich make boom. If every poor man stood up against the rich, the world would be a fairer place.

The rich would buy out the poor and stop the uprising without a single casualty. Then the poor would spend all the money on stupid stuff tha tthe rich sell to them and the rich would have all the money back again.
Simple.

If the poor rose up against the prosperous, neither could win. the government could today step in and attempt to repair family members tranquility. In a fashion, i think which potential the prosperous could win.

I think the rich would to be honest. Not being rich If I thought I could take some rich bast*rds with me when the police and military come to take me down,it might be worth it!! I volunteer to take the remaining Enron executives!! I'm surprised none of the former employees didn't try to do it themselves!!
