1. The Iraqi's DO want the U.S. in Iraq.?

2. The liberal media clearly twists things towards the direction they want to report?

Why didn't the following author say it like this:
(my interpretation) "The majority of Iraqi's (57%) originally wanted the United States to stay in Iraq indefinately. Now, the majority of sunni and shiites believe they can take control of the situation in a years time, and no longer think the US will be necessary after that time."

for example: you live in Cleveland, OH but work in Solon, OH...city taxes are collected by both. However, I have no voting rights or say in Solon government. I thought the Constitution / Bill of Rights stated "no taxation without representation". If I have no say in Solon city government then why does OH allow them to collect taxes from me?

This petition was made by Sen. Ted Kennedy. His view are that this war is Bush's vietnam, I was wondering after watching the president's National Address last night how you felt about the direction of the war, and if you feel it is going to work. I will provide the link to the petition if you decide to add your name. This is his website and you can read his statement about his views and why he is doing this. http://www.tedkennedy.com/ourdecision

Can you validate this claim? Or are you just being a parrot because you wan't so badly to disagree with anything Bush says or does?

And are we to think that no iraqi's want to be able to freely choose the gov't which they live under? Are you saying all Iraqi's are would be dictators, or subservient people?

---

If you are going to cite a poll, please make sure you also cite (or link) the exact questions which drew the conclusions you are going to cite. Zogby has proven in the past that the answers to its questions can lead to only a few deductive results.

For example: "when should we leave iraq?" results, "98% of soldiers want to leave iraq"

How long will they be sucking the life out of our military, and how can he Bush justify allowing this? Why are we sacrificing our troops to "Rebuild Iraqi's neighborhoods" (in the words of GWB) when we are less safe from terrorism than we were on 9/11? The US is sapped out. If we can't or barely can protect our own country, how are we supposed to protect others? Note that the majority of the head of our military are saying a troop surge in Iraq is just like trying to put a band-aid on a gaping wound.

They probably have about a 50/50 split of conservs vs. libs
Commentators and guests.
Where all the other networks might have 1 conserv. commentator and extremely few and far in between conservative guests.
Fox News = Fair and balanced. If anything, too liberal at times!

Increasing the number of Iraqi soldiers, and U.S. backup inside the cities where the insurgents are hiding, to protect the community.

Arresting anyone, no matter of political affiliation, for violent attacks, or outbreaks, while enforcing civility in those cities.

Tell me how this won't allow the people in the cities to develope their government on local and national levels.

And don't give me any of those answers you are programed to say, like, "its a civil war...",, tell me SPECIFICALLY why it won't work in your eyes.

Freedom is something that takes place in your mind is it not. I'm just tired of everyone saying that people are fighting for my freedom and the freedom of others. I live my life the way I wish regardless of the cosiquences. I dont brake the laws out of fear of incarcerartion but because they are in line with my own personal morales.

So again why do people say freedom isn't free.

If pundits fear chaos, havoc and the rise of terror in the Middle East upon our Troops' withdrawal, shouldn't they be screaming and demanding for Iraq's rich Arab neighbors to take responsibilty in forming a coalition to take responsiblity for financing and sending their Troops, and not depend completely on the U.S. Taxpayers' money and U.S. Troops, to force the weak and incompetent Iraqi government to stabilize Iraq?

2 brothers where playing in the yard and 1 of them found a butterfly trap in the spider’s web. The spider begins to approach the butterfly, but then the boy reaches to save it from the spider’s web. As the boy reached to help the butterfly his brother crashes the spider. The 1 who tried to save the butterfly got angry and asked his brother why he killed the spider. The brother replies, because you wanted to save the butterfly from the spider. His brother replies no I wanted to save them both! The one who killed the spider then said Spiders need to kill butterflies or they will die of starvation so if you keep saving the butterfly the spider would die away. So to spare the butterfly and to ease the spiders suffering you should just kill the spider. The one you saved the butterfly said no you don’t have the right to take the life of the spider. He wanted to save them both.

My question is: would you save the butterfly or kill the spider?
Basically asking who do you feel is right.

I've heard people say things like, "it's a common pronunciation in the South," or "no pronunciation is any more valid than another." Nonsense. It's not a "to-may-to/to-mah-to" thing; look at the way it's spelled! "Nu-cle-ar" is not spelled the same way that "nu-cu-lar" would be (if that word existed)! Clearly this is not a well-read man.
It seems to me that he should have advisors and handlers that would tell him of his mistakes (after all, he never said "misunderestimate" again after that one speech in which he coined the term). The fact that he has not corrected it says either: A) His handlers are too intimidated by his defensive, arrogant attitude to broach the subject, B) He keeps forgetting because his brain is the size of a thimble, or C) He's so arrogant he believes he has the right to change the English language and make his pronunciation standard. Personally, I think it's a combination of the three.
Thoughts?

Iran is the big winner in the war in Iraq. Its influence has expanded vastly. It's weapons programs have moved along unopposed. This is an Axis of Evil nation. They are not our friends.

We have to consider America less safe as Iran has become more pwerful and more bold. Iraq will now be under the influence of Iran, as the government already is.

The leader of Iraq is currently a Shiite spiritual leader that is a protege of Iranian Shiite leaders.

What have we done?!

heres 2 video clips from CNN . The first one is congressman Curt Weldonn going public about the DIA (defence intelligence agency ) discrediting a millitary officer tony shafer . He told the truth about the "Able Danger project" in which mohamad ata and his cell were identified before 9/11 and this could have stopped the attacks yet nothing happened : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPWF8JW7jJw&mode=related&search=

this one is from a few months later where the congressman Curt Weldon who has had a seat in congress for 10 years had a smearing campaign against him , his daughter and 5 other people had there houses raided . This was because it was said he had helped his daughter get lucrative contracts (total BS) . of course he lost his seat : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEvd1pBrPo0&mode=related&search=
