When Menachem Begin was PM of israel he had nukes. This is the same man who planted 1500 pounds of explosives in the basement of the King David Hotel in 1946 and blew up the hotel in cold blood.
91 human beings died thanks to Begin's savage terrorism. What's the difference between him having nukes and Iran?
When is israel going to allow UN inspections of its HUNDREDS of illegal nukes and WMD? At least Iran belongs to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and has not violated a single letter of it. israel couldn't be bothered to sign the treaty and used US tax dollars to build a huge inventory.
Who are the real "terrorists"?

Some countries have nukes due to having the technology and other don't due to not having the technology, money, or desire. Some like Iraq have it, but don't have any way to launch it outside of a 2 or 3 hundred mile range, thank God, or we would be up the creek without a paddle.

Thank the Cold War...truth is no one should have them. Since they exist though it becomes a matter of delicately balancing the "haves" and "have nots". Anyone could have a nuke program if they want it badly enough but every time a new player joins it changes the game. that's why its such a big deal to the people already established.

It's a lot like why some people can own guns, and felons cannot. Anyone with that power needs to responsibility and earn the trust of the free world. aka, Iran making nukes and saying it wants to wipe Israel of the map is a great example of why someone shouldn't own them.

Moral equivilance is a UN fiction. I trust Bush with nukes before I would ever trust Ahmedijad.

I agree with you. Since the US is the only super power, than we should be the only country with nukes

Because the countries who have them are responsible enough to control them.... We don't allow psycho leaders to have that type of power.
