They probably have about a 50/50 split of conservs vs. libs
Commentators and guests.
Where all the other networks might have 1 conserv. commentator and extremely few and far in between conservative guests.
Fox News = Fair and balanced. If anything, too liberal at times!

The news portion is 100% unbaised, their commentators and editorial content is right biased.

But the main reason they appear so right is because the other mainstream media outlets pander to the neolibs.

the total media is biased in a unmarried direction or the different! i do not watch FOX or MSNBC, yet I honestly have considered clips. they're biased in opposite guidelines and if someone might want to observe both and then rigidity what they say, you are able to nonetheless locate the middle of the line reality. The Majors report what they're advised and the heads are also depending and performance an inclination to lean in a unmarried direction in an attempt, i imagine, to stay politically striking! in the course of the marketing campaign I said what I call delicate bashing happening on the Majors, on their communicate shows, morning information, the overdue nighttime shows or maybe the community nightly information. i do not care who the guy is, the position they artwork, or for the different reason, all of us is biased, no matter if or not they be liberal, conservative, self sufficient, socialist or communist, they have a bias. i'm an self sufficient, yet i'm biased. I dislike those who lie, cheat, and scouse borrow. I hate those who're racist, bigots and imagine they're improved to every person else. I hate murderers, drug sellers, con artists and gang bangers. nicely, there is going a million/3 of the worlds inhabitants! i don't like pedophiles, rapists, stalkers, sexual abusers, better 0.5 beaters, toddler abusers or terrorists. And there is going a set more effective. i wager i'm biased because this record takes in plenty if no longer all politicians!

A 50/50 split does not, in itself, prove a lack of bias. It only proves that they can find two people (regardless of credentials) that will engage in a cockfight while some pseudo-conservative flack whips them up.

Of course, FOX and the lowbrows that support it always point to Hannity & Combes as 'proof' of their being unbiased. Pitting an aggressive, photogenic, articulate individual against a physically unappealing (if not distrubing), mumbling individual who routinely defers to his 'opponent' is not "fair and balanced." It's no different with the selection of guests on all their shows. The deck is always stacked in favor of the FNC agenda.

Another clue that they are anything but "fair and balanced" is that how the news is covered and the positions taken by the on-air personalities is dictated by the ownership and executive staff of News Corp, not the events/issues being addressed.

If FNC was truly "fair and balanced," it would be obvious to anyone, regardles of political orientation. There would surely be no need to beat eveyone over the head with the claim over and over and over.

Because they don't have Wolf Blitzer or Jack Cafferty condemmning the EVIL George Bush every night. If you watch Fox you'll learn thing slike rep-controlled Congress passed 49 of 51 reccomendations of the 9/11 commission last year, but the dems got up on tuesday, and crowed about passing the last two as if reps had done nothing. Yesterday (watch C-span if you want to know what really goes on in Congress) dems crowed they were raising minimum wage, and that reps had neglected to do this all this time. Then reps get up and remind everyone they have tried to pass it, with a plan that includes health coverage for minimum wage workers AND protects small business owners, who are the backbone of our economy and source of job growth. Too which dems replied the usual chant "tax breaks for the rich!" Guess what sound bites got replayed on CNN afterwards? Watch C-SPAN live coverage and take no spin from talking heads, hear both sides of the arguement and make your own decisions.

I hate to mention this, but you're talking about the same networks that are getting big handouts from Conservatives. NBC is owned by GE which helps produce weapons for the war and also is a big business or corporation, they pay their anchors. Therefore, they would be stupid to be liberal, if they wanted more money that is. Same with ABC, it's owned by Disney and they're getting money handed out to them too from Conservatives (Big Business Pundits), why oppose conservatives on your network if you're being given handouts from them? CBS is the most conservative of those networks. But Fox takes the cake, simply because they back the entire agenda of Bush an his counterparts. You give me irrefutable evidence stating the opposite and i'll give you brownie points. Come on, fair and balanced? Bill O'Reilly is fair and balanced? Have you ever paid attention to half of the things that comes out of his mouth? Research what he says sometime, and see if it's not at least a flat out lie. I mean, if the man did his research and didn't just spew ignorance everytime he got on television, after working for that television tabloid Inside Edition, he may look somewhat credible. But facts are facts and unless he's giving proven facts to back his words, he's just lying. Hannity is no better, Colmes is a joke if he ever gets a counterpoint argument in. He's there more for show then for use as a willing counterpoint to Hannity, a way that Fox can say they present both sides. Ted Turner also likes making money, and gets handouts from the government. Maybe next time you think about how liberal all these networks agendas are, you should first think of who pays them and who controls their fate at these networks, card carrying republicons.

Ummm. Well. They say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Here's a link with some info about fox. I know it's from those bad people at media matters but will it really hurt you to take 5 minutes and actually read it. I can't stand O'Reilly and Limbaugh but I've read their books.

Because those people who support Fox News don't realize that Rupert Murdock - a man addicted to $$$ and not to truth - controls that channel. And that Fox News probably are more interested in hiring loud-mouthed talking junkies and propagandists willing to sell their souls to compete for a few minutes of fame against the Fox Studio's film actors and celebrities. The Fox culture where truth and fantasy are only separated by a thin, invisible line...

It is very easy to explain the reason the neolibs rant so much against Fox news is that they are so use to and addicted to the left slant that centered is going to appear right.

The reason they fall under right winged, is because they often interview republicans without getting the full view of the democrats. Also they fired an anchor for stating her liberal views on the station. Lastly it is owned by Rupert Murdoch who is a staunch republican and has total control of the station, he does not allow his anchors to take anything but conservative viewpoints.

A veteran television producer has alleged that Fox News executives issue a daily memorandum to staff to bend the US cable network's reporting into conformity with management's political views.
