THEY DO GET A TRIAL. Pay attention. What part of "selected byt the military for PROSECUTION" don't you understand?

The legislation applies to those selected by the military for prosecution and leaves mostly unaffected the majority of the 14,000 prisoners in U.S. custody, most of whom are in Iraq. Bush needed the legislation because the Supreme Court in June said the administration's plan for trying detainees in military tribunals violated U.S. and international law.~usa today

From what I know of this war I can't find a good reason to support it. My question is do you support this war? Please list reasons.
I may not support the war but I can't stand people that put down the soldiers. This question is not about soldiers but about war.

would the "Go" be immediate, or would we need to wait for the President's approval to shoot him down? Would this be left up to Dick Cheney? How long would the decision process be allowed?

People say that we should have sent fighter planes up. Yeah lets shoot down planes with 100's of people on them. Great idea! If he would have ordered that then people would be saying that he shot down the planes and murder all of those people. So tell me what you think he should have done when he heard about the first attack. Was there much that he could have done?

What could the United States government have done to prevent some or all of the 9/11 attacks? One thing I thought of was that the examinations prior to letting ppl board planes could've been more thorough, like it is now, or even more thorough. Any other ideas?

Goethe once said " Napoleon wanted virtue. Since she was not to be found, he got power instead." I don't think, however there is anything " virtious " about this narcissistic moron. But he likes posturing in front of Mission Accomplished banners. I understand they even let him fly the plane once it was trimed out and level for a bit.

When a Republican gets into truble the Democrats & the media are all over them. People like Tom DeLay, Foley,. Granted they should have their day in court & if guilty go to jail. But look at the Democrats with Barney Frank using pages & his driver for pimps,Clinton avoiding the draft, Reid & his $1,000,000. Frank is still in the Congress, Clinton is running all over the place for Dems. Reid enjoying his " accounting mistake". Why are not the rules applyed evenly to both parties. If you know please tell me ..If you are a crook, no matter what party you belong to why are you not in jail?

It wouldn't be the first time Tony Blair and his loopy men told us complete falsehoods for their own purposes - the inflation figures of 2.4 % do not tally with money supply growth of 14% to August. Unemployment is nearer five million than whatever rubbish they are fabricating this time and housing figures are compiled by groups of people (ie building societies, banks, estate agents and politically pressured state sources) who have a vested interest in keeping the housing boom going. Meanwhile the replacement to 'bankrupcies' the IVA or Individual Voluntary Arrangements have mushroomed from 2,000 in 2002 to 40,000 in 2006. Are we being systematically lied to by the Labour government ???
