there is no simple answer -- not one, not many will satisfy all of us --including you and the melting factor. The truth is the facts as you have seen --on t.v. in the news in various reports, in movie format, in discussion -- it is a combination and mi-sh mash of all those factors. Yet, steel melts --under intense heat. No one has to be an engineer to swear on that fact alone. Why are you looking for "government assistance" to solve that issue -- furthermore I have seen little government action to go after the "pure truth". To-day, if you follow the news -- there is a case in the Canadian papers of a top lawyer -- negating the findings of a Mexican prosecutor about a double murder case. That shows you -- who is who in government and who protects what! This is a corollary to your question of 9/11 -- so many are involved -- besides the 3,000 innocent deaths -- that to come to the one sentence truth -- is not only impossible -- but we need a miracle. and that is impossible on the 21 st century.

There is not one scientist in the world that will tell you the fires melted the steel. Please anybody find one. This is physically impossible. The gov't denies that there was melted steel. I would like to know where ppl are getting their info. 9/11 is an inside job and if ppl want to sit back and deny it go ahead, it is only going to hurt you and your children and grandchildren. Look at the facts ppl, look at history. Why in the world is this so hard to believe. By the way, thermate melted the steel.

Heat melted the steel. As a matter of fact, to melt anything you have to have heat. If you're in a vacuum, you still need to have heat, but just not as much.

9/11 is only a mystery to those who are ignorant of the facts.
The cleanup crews used acetylene torches extensively during the clean up to cut the steel girders down to size in order to transport the rubble out of the city.

I love conspiracy stories but not this one. The weight of the upper floors snapped the glowing red steel beams. It's not a mystery.

From either union / mafia / government allowance of lower grade materials used in the building is the first thing that comes to my mind. It happens all the time
