Serbia and Montenegro are now two separate countries.
They were the last members of the former Yugoslavia, which broke apart throughout the 1990s.
Croatia, Slovenia (NOT Slovakia; they are sometimes mistaken), Bosnia-Herzogovina and Macedonia (a.k.a. FYROM) were the others.

What do you want to ask?
They are both independent countries in the Balkans area and they used to be part of the old Yugoslavia. Up to about a couple of years ago they used to be partners, so to speak, but now they are completely independent from each other. Does that answer you unasked question?
By the way, it is "Montenegro." Go to Yahoo search and learn more about it.
