THEY DO GET A TRIAL. Pay attention. What part of "selected byt the military for PROSECUTION" don't you understand?

The legislation applies to those selected by the military for prosecution and leaves mostly unaffected the majority of the 14,000 prisoners in U.S. custody, most of whom are in Iraq. Bush needed the legislation because the Supreme Court in June said the administration's plan for trying detainees in military tribunals violated U.S. and international law.~usa today

It's paranoia...and the hate Bush crowd and get the GOP out bunch....and low IQs.
As far as I'm concerned, the should be held until the end of this conflict...just as the geneva convention allows and then a military tribunal.

If their claim is at all tru...the ACLU had better go into hiding.

That is only one part of the law signed today, they can hold indefinitely anyone considered to be a enemy of the U.S. that means that in a worse case scenario that they can come to your house and take you away to a secret prison, torture you and make you confess and use that confession against you in a military tribunal, I do not think that you are allowed a lawyer and you have no rights at these tribunals, in other words you are guilty and can then be killed and this bill makes that legal. It is a scary moment in U.S. history when we resort to such measures.

People decide what they want to read, before they read it, that way they don't have to read the whole thing. Just the parts that support what they want it to say.
