Is it about time for a new breed of political party in britain?
One that puts the people of britain first.
One that really listens to the man in the street.
One that is independant of large Corporate influence.
One that is not more preocupied with what others think or want more than its own people.
One that will bring back the pride of a once great nation
One that will stop the current fragmentation of all that britain has stood for in the past
One that will have the power to say what goes on in its own country
One that will stand up and support common sense laws
One that will give unending support to the victims of crime and not the criminal
One that will be proud to display our own flag with pride when we want.
One that will embrace all who live here and integrate and contribute to our great country.

You decide......
What do you want for britain and the next generation to come?

Are Muslim leaders in Britain using our democracy and liberties to purport their religion and culture with the aim of supplanting all others? Does this represent an element intrinsic to expansionist religions that should be expected and accepted? What are the dangers (politically, socially and culturally) of aiding (Governmentally) conservative religions in what is primarily a secular state?

The increasingly influential Christian lobby has blocked legislation for stem cell research, euthenasia, and other developments which surveys show are supported by the majority of Australians. The Christian lobby is a marginal minority, but represents votes increasingly important in marginal seats, where comparatively few votes can swing results. It's a creeping growth of influence under the present Federal Government which includes fundamentalists, who have now got millions of dollars of Federal funds allocated for Chaplains in secular State schools, and also devoted Govt education funding to extremely rich, private, Church schools. Protests are ignored, and muted. Is this the boiling frog syndrome? Islamic countries are experiencing similar difficulties with fundamentalists - who typically resort to terror when they don't get what they want such as Sharia Law. Western societies fought hard for secular States. Are we losing them?

450,000 weapons sent to iraq, not registered and missing.
Millions of personal social security information stolen from a house, that should never been allowed to leave an office.
Government can't get water or medicine to Katrina victims for days, or control law and order.
Millions of illegals in the country unaccounted for.
An ill thought out war that is costing American lives, and all our government can say is stay the course.
America being sold off to foreign countries and even congress doesn't know what is going on.
Department of transportation making plans to allow trucks brought in from Mexico across our borders.
Drug program that has many seniors paying over $3850. a year, if they have even one serious health problem. Plus the monthly drug premium, before they can get drugs at a truely low cost.
Drug smugglers set free and border guards sent to jail for doing their job.
Isn't it time to clean house and start over?

There has been a "war party" in the US from the get-go. The object is to be on top of the heap and stay on the top thru brute force. It is the way things are and always has been. Different wars for different times.

Globalization is having a global market with the end goal resulting in free trade amongst competing countries & competitive markets. IE, say a bed was manufactured in the USA with higher wage employees, then a person in Chile couldn't afford to buy it; whereas, if that bed was made in China, then they could afford it.

Globalization is a way of leveling the free market playing field 'globally'... that is the end goal.

Now my question is and please forgive me for being crass but, "why the hell are we falling for this and why are we so willing to believe it is a good thing for us?"

I mean seriously... who gains from globalizing markets? NOT the average workers, NOT the small business person selling books in a shop down the street, NOR your local corner grocer that refuses to turn into a franchise.

Seems to me that we have ALL fallen for the 'idea' of globalization as being good for us but will it not destroy the American dream? Will it not benefit global corporations only?

At first Consul General E. Spencer Pratt said: "You need not worry about America. The American Congress made a solemn declaration desclaiming any desire to possess Cuba and promising to leave the country to the Cubans after having driven away the Spaniards and pacified the country. As in Cuba, so in the Philippines. Even more so, if possible."
But after they saw the that the Philippines could be an important market for finished goods and that the Philippines has the perfect location for a base to the rest of the East they decided to "free us and teach us to rule ourselves". Sound familiar?

I am a patriot, I don't really understand people who get on here and bash the USA. Hating your country because of one or two people in office is kinda like throwing out the baby with the bath water.
Now for something to laugh at;
Lois, when I'm through with them, our kids will be so smart, they'll be able to program their own VCRs without spilling piping hot gravy all over myself.
For God's sake, shake me. Shake me like a British nanny!
Lois: It's broccoli, it's good for you. Now open up for the airplane.
Stewie: Never! Damn the broccoli, damn you, and damn the Wright brothers!

Stewie: Let me guess, you picked out yet another colorful box with a crank that I'm expected to turn and turn until OOP! big shock, a jack pops out and you laugh and the kids laugh and the dog laughs and I die a little inside.
Stewie: There's always been a lot of tension between Lois and me, and it's not so much that I want to kill her, it's just, I want her not to be alive anymore.
LOL
