I have come to the conclusion that many people on this board have an irrational hatred of this man. I asked whether Vladimir Putin was the next Hitler, and the vast majority of the responses so far have been saying stuff like "no, Bush is. DUHHHH".

Should I be taking any of these people seriously in regards to any of their views on world affairs/politics when they obviously have no idea as to what is going on in the world around them?

For english we have to write this essay its the "Voice of democracy" speech, and i have no clue what to write about. Someone wise once said: those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. It seems as though we have forgetten things like the assissinations of the 60's, the democratic national convention or ohio state university killings when the powers that be went berserk on the people who voiced dissent with the way things were going. Where are the protestors today? Where are the young people who are willing to voice thier dismay? Who will speak up and say "this is wrong" Is the two americas from the civil war not merged into one state of a united people? This is not dems vs repubs, this is decent people vs evil people while a whole new class of sheep who arent saying anything bog the process of change down like knee deep mud, this is your country, do nothing, say nothing and it wont be the land of the free for very long.

According to dozens of new polls (research it if you want) Bush's approval rating is in the low to mid 30's. (give or take the margin of error of 3%).

So this question is for all of the Republicans and conservatives who undermine freedom of speech with statements such as all anti-Bush people are commies, anti-Americans, and terrorists.

Does this mean approximately 2/3 of the nation is filled with American citizens who are either commies, anti-Americans, or terrorists? Is this what you truly believe?

Or could it be because many informed Americans (Republicans included) are realizing the corruption and failing foreign policies of our current administration?

Canadians are so pathetic. They always go on about how they invented this and how the USA didn't or how they have safer cities than us, or how they have free healthcare. And they say when Americans visit other countries we put Canadian flags on our backpacks. What a load of BULL! I always show my American flag with pride on all my luggage and backpacks when travelling abroad.

Also Canadians don't respect the United States. They don't help us in our wars and they don't have much of a military. Why? Because they think if they get nuked one day, we will protect them. If it wasn't for the United States, Canada could not function properly. More than half of everything in Canada comes from the United States, is made in the United States, or is an American company. We do TOO MUCH for that country and we deserve some respect, not the anti American crap they give us all the time.

They are jealous that there not the USA. There jealous they dont have what we have.

My parents live in Spokane Washington and the doctor that sees my Dad is a horses ***.My mother is in a wheel chair and cannot do the things his doctor wants my mother to do and she has tried to get another doctor for him and they refuse to let her obtain another physician.Where can I go to get help for them?Thanks so much and thank you all for your service for our great country.

When you are in Rome... abide by the rules, the UK or any other country is no exception. A westerner who travels to the Mid-East to abuse the alcohol rules should rightly expect to be prosecuted as though a muderer, but same foreigners would come to this country in the back of a lorry to dictate to us how we should live, by enforcing their bloody norms upon us to conform with.

f you demand good judgment, respect and fair treatment, you should have the courage to lay your card open on the table. If they agree to comply with the rules not to cover up their faces when making serial State benefit claims or when visiting the local bank cashier or when they desperately want a British passport, then Mr Straw has the right to enforce openness.
