According to dozens of new polls (research it if you want) Bush's approval rating is in the low to mid 30's. (give or take the margin of error of 3%).

So this question is for all of the Republicans and conservatives who undermine freedom of speech with statements such as all anti-Bush people are commies, anti-Americans, and terrorists.

Does this mean approximately 2/3 of the nation is filled with American citizens who are either commies, anti-Americans, or terrorists? Is this what you truly believe?

Or could it be because many informed Americans (Republicans included) are realizing the corruption and failing foreign policies of our current administration?

Your protractors are nothing less than the lap dogs of the elitist PNAC neo-conservative organization, and traitors to their forefathers, every soldier who ever fought and died to preserve our freedom and liberty, and every other American citizen, all because they believe they will get an America that's just for them.

Polls reflect opinion, not truth...and opinions are easily manipulated, especially when it's those very same elite who OWN our media. Unfortunately, few Americans seem capable or willing to read, investigate, and find out for themselves. It's easier to believe, and swear by, the propaganda.

If they read the Patriot Acts, the "torture" bill passed last week, the website for PNAC (who's founding members now control the Pentagon, the Defense Department and the White House), noticed the militarization of our law enforcement, the act that created FEMA and what it's duties are during a (vaguely defined) national emergency, and took the time to add 2+2, they wouldn't need their propaganda. The truth is painfully obvious, and they are fools.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
Theodore Roosevelt, 1912

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Benjamin Franklin

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty"

Approval ratings of previous presidents: Kinda makes the discussion meaningless especially when history often demonstrates the minority to be correct.

Harry Truman 23%
Richard Nixon 24%
Jimmy Carter 28%
George H.W. Bush 29%
Lyndon Johnson 35%
Ronald Reagan 35 %
Gerald 37%
Bill Clinton 37%

Your criticism of Bush is valid. There is corruption that needs investigating, and the plan in Iraq isn't going as smoothly as was sold.

But stop there. You must realize that the Democrats' position is even weaker. Bush had the courage to set our country on a course for war, which is more than can be said for Democrats, who would have us blaming ourselves for terrorist attacks. While our planning could be better, the principle of turning rogue nations upside down is not a bad one.

Bush has the courage of his convictions, and while he could be doing better, JOHN KERRY WOULD BE WORSE!

2/3 of Americans couldn't tell you who their Congressman is, much less know what foreign policies are. I will tell you that by being bombarded by negative news day in and day out about Iraq and other current events, that most people think that by voting differently things will change. Generally doing that usually makes things worse.

you're using a straw man argument (aka a logical fallacy) You start off refuting a standpoint which your opponents have not acknowledged, and attributing it to your opponents regardless.

you're also demonizing your opponent, and making unsupported criticisms. as in:
"corruption and failing foreign policies of our current administration"
