For instance, they tend to "see" problems everywhere except in their own backyards. Is it not better to sort yourself out before you preach. When the press showed Mugabe's modest house the press went on about it and friends were critizing him. When I asked who owns Buckingham palace they said, "Thats different." Is it?

I'm a westerner and I'n not thick or brainwashed. I do understand what you mean though. I think it's more like hypocricy than brainwashing. \people in power love to squawk on about everyone and everything elso but get very ruffled and defensive when it's brought into their own backyard. "That's different" is always a lame and pathetic response. It means "I don't want to go there".

THANK YOU ROBESPIERRE!!!! YES YES YES! We are brainwashed, hypnotized and downright gullible. Most of our call centers are in the Philippines and India and the staff there laugh at us because "americans will buy anything" this is a direct quote from the upper management to the staff and the staff agreed. We are so gullible and brainwashed as you say we will go for just about anything even if it slits our own throats. You can put coolwhip on a road apple and call it a brownie and we will buy it. Omigod and self-righteous!?!? sshhheeessshhh, tromping around the planet beating and bombing other people in thier own country.

Are fundamental muslims who believe suicide bombing is Allas wish thick ? Or just misguided.
Most of the brainwashing of westeners is by advertising to buy things that people don't need. Our politicians act in a 'better than the rest' mode, and so do certain newspapers. Best idea is not to buy the newspapers, very suprising that people still do.

Of course it's different!!! The queen doesn't go around throwing us out of our homes, taking people's land, she doesn't live in luxury while the rest of us starve to death, she doesn't send the army out onto the streets to round up and torture anyone who disagrees with her. The monarchs in England have had their powers curbed ever since the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215.
The people of the UK have freedom of speech, I can write and talk about hating the queen, wanting a revolution, overthrowing the government, and no one will arrest me or my family. Can you say the same about Zimbabwe? I think not.

The queen is not a dictator, she is a figurehead with no real power. Mugabe is a dictator, with very real power, and has created the first man-made famine in history.
I think you're an idiot, because you refuse to see the difference, but I won't call you that, because it's against protocol.

arent you talking about Americans?
Besides, the queen doesnt pillage anymore, she lives off us willingly and works for it, we need her for our economy.
Have you ever been to Africa my friend? Mugabe is just the icing on the cake, african leaders will sell their mother's for money and keep their stolen money in swiss bank. They couldnt give a rats *** about their people. Im talking 98%. Maybe you should take a trip there and show me the love of a leader for its people in an outstanding way and a leader who doesnt pillage its wealth for private profit
Sierra Leone - officially the poorest country in the world, sold 250MILL worth of Diamonds in 2005 - Go figure

It the Muslims that are brainwashed, by to many old men. Any how, quite a lot of us so call Westerners, don't listened to half the **** said by our leaders, knowing that you cannot half the time trust what they say.
On your side you believe ever thing that your old men say, even if is not true.
