tax cuts not only benefitted the wealthy they've created a massive debt for generations to come, .......no attacks on US soil proves nothing. try to tell me homeland security is anything but a joke....terrorists seem to be killing plenty of civilians and troops in iraq...the fact it isnt US soil speaks of the convenience with which bush has made americans available for daily target practice.

then theres the "he's our president so i support him" crowd.
and those are the ones im addressing, because clearly you are unable to think of a reason.

Ney agreed to plead guilty to making false statements & conspiracy to commit fraud, make other false statements & violate U.S. lobbying restrictions. The charges could carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years & fines of up to $500,000 plus repayment of any improper gifts.

Ney improperly accepted trips to play golf, gamble or vacation in Scotland, New Orleans & New York between August 2002 & August 2003. The total cost of the trips by Ney & others exceeded $170,000, court papers said. Ney also admitted accepting meals & sports and concert tickets for himself & his staff from Abramoff & his lobbyists.

Ney accepted thousands of dollars worth of free casino chips from the foreign businessman & parlayed them into $50,000 in total gambling winnings playing card games. On one occasion, Ney gave $5,000 to a staff member to carry through U.S. Customs so that Ney could report receiving a lesser amount.

Are the Republicans proud of good ol Bobby Ney of Ohio?

First off, I am for Bush, through and through. I have my reasons, but that is not the point of this question.

My point is, there are alot of people complaining about him, but they don't try to get off their rears and do something. Many of them don't have the education level or experience in politics to be able to handle a government job, yet they want to critisize someone who obviously does. If he didn't, he wouldn't have been elected and neither would those in congress.

It is easy to judge and say nasty things about the president, but I don't see any of these same people trying to do anything about it, other than complain.

One can read the speech here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/15_09_06_pope.pdf
A serous intellectual trying to engage the minds of the world about serious questions of faith and reason and history of Islam and of christianity. He is trying to do good and he is trying to do his job, which is to speak about man and God and man and his soul and asking the faiths to dialog.
In doing so the Moslem world blows up.

The Pope quotes from a letter between Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos II and a Persian scholar written in 1391 asking for Dialog and stopping Jihad and death to convert people to islam. This is considered an insult to Islam.
By the way that Pope died at the hands of Jihad, His Church turned into a Mosque, his people killed, enslaved, forced to pray to Allah, and his Empire turned into the Turkish Empire.

What do you think?

Extra credit: Name the Christian born Sex Slave girl that brought the beginning of the fall of the Turkish Empire.

I hear alot of people talking about how good it would be to impeach Bush, if there were to be a Democratic Congress. Would impeachment really be a good idea for democrats, if this happens? If you get rid of Bush, Cheney is president. If you get rid of both, somebody like Pelosi is president. You can be sure that such a power play to put such a liberal democrat in this position would surely fire up the republican base, turn off independants and virtually assure a republican president in 08 and possibly republican congress. Wouldn't it be smarter to keep Bush in for 2 more years?

Some got it, some didn't.
Basically I was challenging anyone to show me where in the world anyone has tasted of freedom at least within the past 200 plus years where America, in some way, either directly or indirectly did "NOT" have a hand in accomplishing this...
My point being that America is the birthplace of Democracy, and History has shown clearly that Democracy is the only true free form of Government.
Therefore anyone who hates America are (In street terms) "Player haters."

I do not understand, Islam has all its teachings preaching good, not bombing or killing. It preaches about equality to women, etc etc. So then why is it, that in countries like saudi arabia, which is supposedly the #1 muslim spot are women to allowed to drive for example. And why do a very very small amout of muslims manage to justify the killing of innocent people, when the muslim prophet and qu'ran say nothing of this and against it?? The only conclusion i can think of is that these people are NOT muslim, how can tehy claim to be muslim when they do evil things, just because they claim to be muslim it doesent mean that they are, to have a religeon you have to PRACTICE what it says. So this brings me to another point, why do americans manage to hate muslims when only a very small number of them, (i say less than 1%, who claim to be muslim) do evil things, and the rest are normal, good, law abiding citizens. A third point, are muslim citizens today the evilent of jews during ww2?(wars)

It is apparent that Britain and the USA are afraid to unleash their full military strength to irradicate the cancer that is terrorism. The enemy is known just as clearly as when Hitler was over-running Europe. Perhaps now is the time to use the nuclear alternative in order to bring the muslim nations back to heel. As unpleasant an alternative as it may be, it must be recognised that to remove a cancer, some benign cells must be sacrificed. Is there any sacrifice too great to guarantee the Western Worlds way of life?
