Situation: A Male and woman choose to have sex. Woman is impregnated. At this point, only the woman get's a 2nd chance to renig on her decision to risk becomming a parent. If she aborts, she's legally and finacially free of all the responsibilities of parenthood forever. If she keeps it, he keeps it. He's 1/2 financially responsible for life. That's why we now have to put our SSN on everything so the Feds can track "deadbeat dads" who don't want to pay for their children.

To afford equal protection under the law, shouldn't the male be given the opportunity to "abort" his parental rights. This way, both genders have control over their financial and parenthood futures. Essentially, what I'm asking is if a woman gets a 2nd chance to say "I don't want to be a parent" shouldn't the male get the same treatment.

Obviously, this is not considering rape/incest situations. The only difference really in a virtual abortion is the fetus survives.

If you lined up everyone in America, in order of how much they made, and picked out the one in the exact middle, with as many people on the left side of him being equal to the number on the right... how much would that one person make?

I want opinions, based on your personal experiences... what you think based on what you have seen in your life... no right or wrong answers...

oh, and if you don't mind... state your political affiliation... I'm just curious...

I know the real answer, according to the census...

I love my husband with all my heart which is why I HATE my situation.
My hubby is deaf & Is on SSDI, I am in a wheelchair & going to college to better our lives so we don't have to depend on the government.
They have cut both of our medicaid because we " Make too much" & Medicare will not pay for the drugs that I need desperately!! Not to mention any sickness that comes along will totally bankrupt us - we couldn't afford to go to the Dr.
If we get a divorce I will at least get my medicaid back BUT I don't want to divorce my husband!!!
If you have any advice, I would really appreciate it.
PLEASE don't say anything horrible to me though....I'm depressed & angry enough as it is.

Bush claims that he talks to god and is Christian. Yet he admits to being in Skull and Bones, a Yale secret Society which former members claim the group keeps skulls of famous people which the members drink wine from the skulls during a mock ritual.

Investigative Journalist Alex Jones infultrated the Bohemian Grove in California. He climbed a tall tree and video taped Bush and other Republicans
(who claim to have good christian values)At this grove while men dressed like the ancient Druids do mock sacrifices to an owl god with the sound of Satan laughing in the background.

This can be seen on infowars.com or prisonplanet.com. Just click on the Bohemian Grove trailor and tell me what you think.

Earlier I asked a question about homicide rates in the US. Obviously you don't get answers to serious questions. So, here goes with a dumded down version. Do you kill each other more often because somebody 200years ago thought it was a good idea for everyone to have a gun.

Please don't answer with the worn out rhetoric of 'guns don't kill people, people kill people'. When quite obviously it is a good deal easier to kill someone if you have a gun in your hand than if you do not.

Please refer to my previous question if you need to see the stats.

I've heard so much about it, but I guess I'm not too keen on it, since I don't have cable anymore, I don't watch the news. And, I'm sad to say, I can't even afford a newspaper subscription. Can someone fill me in on Big Brother and the Patriot Act?

Most of the countries hate us, don't pay thier parking tickets, and generaly are down right unfriendly. How about it moves to North Korea? It would be good for their economy (Lord knows they need help) and I would bet that most of the countries would not even show up (another plus).

With the daily increase in violence, and the spread of Civil War, would Iraq have been more secure under the old regime? Considering that Bush has claimed the war was primarily about liberating Iraq, has the war effort failed?

It seems to me that it is just a degradation of the English language, and should be avoided at all costs as it identifies you as an ignorant poor person. When it is embraced by entertainers, it further degrades the English language. Thoughts?

If you didn't know, the media has played a integral part on the process of war, not only today, but in the past also. William Randoph Hearts and his newpaper helped fuel, and eventually caused the Spanish American War. He ran 8 pages a day about the "Spanish Cannibalism", "Inhuman Torture" (neither of which were true), and even blamed the sinking of the U.S.S. Maine on the Spanish. (Even though a naval investigation concluded that the source of the destruction was unknown).

This is also a lot like the media fueling of the Muhammod cartoons by the Dutch newspaper. It wasn't until the media spun it, that the muslim community took to it.

Why do I have the feeling the media is going to cause something big in the near future? (Prime example ... Kim Jong Il's favorite television channel is CNN. Do you really think he isn't listening to everything that's being said about him?) Am I alone in having this feeling? What do you think?

A Pagan, Jew, Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, or Hindu strapping 16 sticks of TNT to their bodies and casually walking into a wedding reception in an attempt to purposely kill as many innocent civilians as possible, including women and children?

Or, have any of you ever heard of those groups of people celebrating in the streets when a successful terrorist operation has been performed?
