The man could be considered the trilateral commission. It could be considered the United nations.

The general idea I get of it is this.

The man is the oppressive nature of a government. It exists in all governments. The very nature of a government is to gain more power to "be a better government." In order for a government to get more power, the people must lose power, or become "oppressed."

Thus, the man is simply "The oppressive nature of a government."

If it's "da man" it's the made up excuse why some minority "can't" get a job and straighten his life out. Interesting that this is the excuse despite rampant political correctness, affirmative action, and hiring quotas.

Seems like some white guy should be complaining about "da man."

He's the white guy that controls how the world works & keeps the black man down. Uses Fried chicken and hot blondes to control the minds of the brothers. Didn't you see the movie "Undercover Brother?"

it is sort of a generic phrase. It can mean the government, law enforcement, police, anybody in charge who makes or enforces rules.


Or it can be a group leader or a popular person.
